Abstract
De acuerdo con los principios de la invencion, una unidad de cliente (102) que comprende un receptor GPS del cliente (104) se integra con un transceptor de radio bidireccional (108) y un gestor (116) con el fin de realizar los ajustes de posicion global asistidos por un servidor, en especial en los casos en donde la ubicacion o situacion hace a los ajustes no asistidos imposibles o impracticos. Tambien se proporciona una unidad de servidor (120) asociada con un segundo transceptor de radio bidireccional (126) y un gestor servidor (130). El primero y segundo gestores (116 y 130) funcionan como gestores de comunicacion, cada uno comprendiendo modulos para detectar trafico de canal RF, habilitando las porciones del transmisor de los transceptores (108 y 126).
