Abstract

Secuencias promotoras reguladas por nematodos y su uso para crear o mejorar resistencia a nematodos en plantas. Se proveen moléculas de ácidos nucleicos que comprenden una secuencia de nucleótidos heteróloga, ligada operativamente a un promotor regulado por nematodos, y vectores, células vegetales, plantas y semillas transformadas que contienen tales construcciones. Se proveen también métodos para la creación y el uso de tales promotores en la represión o la inducción de una secuencia de nucleótidos heteróloga en una planta así como métodos para crear o mejorar resistencia a nematodos en plantas por medio de la represión o la inducción de tales secuencias heterólogas de nucleótidos a través de promotores regulados por nematodos.
