Abstract
La presente invencion proporciona metodos y composiciones para la transformacion de plastidos de lenteja de agua; las composiciones y metodos de la invencion son utiles para mejorar la capacidad de produccion de proteina recombinante del sistema de expresion de lenteja de agua; las composiciones de la invencion incluyen plastidos transformados de lenteja de agua y celulas y plantas de lenteja de agua transplastomicas, asi como constructos de acido nucleico que son utiles para la transformacion de plastidos de lenteja de agua; la invencion tambien proporciona metodos para introducir una o mas secuencias de nucleotidos heterologas en un plastoma de lenteja de agua.
