Abstract
Un procedimiento para preparar monohidrato de hidrocloruro de 5-[4-[2-(N-metil-N-(2-piridil)amino)etoxi]bencil]tiazolidina-2,4-diona, que: (i) proporcionaun espectro infrarrojo que contiene picos a 3.358, 2.764, 1.245, 833 y 760 cm-1; y/o (ii) proporciona un modelo de difraccion de rayos X a través de polvo(XRPD) que contiene picos a 15,0, 17,7, 23,0, 30,0 y 31,4s2theta, caracterizado porque o bien (a) 5-[4-[2-(N-metil-N-(2-piridil)-amino)etoxi]bencil]tiazolina-2,4-diona (Compuesto I) se trata conuna fuente de iones contrarios de hidrocloruro en ácido acético como disolvente; o (b) una suspension del Compuesto (I) endisolvente orgánico acuoso se trata con una fuente de iones contrarios de hidrocloruro a una temperatura en el intervalo de 20sC a 30sC; o (c) una solucion decompuesto (I) en un disolvente orgánico se hace reaccionar con una fuente de iones contrarios de hidrocloruro para proporcionar agentes reaccionantessustancialmente disueltos, después se induce la cristalizacion para proporcionar el Hidrato de Hidrocloruro; y después de esto, se recupera el compuestorequerido.
