Abstract

Una cepa de Bacillus de amplio espectro que presenta actividad contra por lo menos dos ordenes de insectos. Las nuevas proteínas son activas contra elescarabajo pulga de maíz y nemetodes, y también se proveen los métodos para su aislamiento. Además se provee un complejo de proteína cristalina purificadaaislada de una cepa de Bacillus que posee propiedades insecticidas. Además, se provee la secuencia de animoácidos y nuclotidos del gen Cry II aislado de estacepa.
