Abstract

Promotor aislado a partir de la region de flanqueo 5 corriente arriba de la secuencia codificante del gen clpP del plástido de Arabidopsis. Método parautilizar regiones codificantes de proteína de genes de plástido para aislar las secuencias reguladoras que intervienen, y un método para mejorar la eficienciade transformacion del plástido promotores de plástido exogenos que difieren en la secuencia de nucleotidos de los promotores de plástidos nativos. Método detransformacion de plástido mejorado, que comprende transformar un plástido de una especie de planta huésped, con un gen quimérico que comprende una secuenciareguladora activa en plástido operativamente enlazada con una secuencia codificante de interés, en donde la secuencia reguladora tiene una secuencia denucleotidos que es menor de aproximadamente el 90% idéntica a una secuencia reguladora nativa correspondiente en el plástido de la planta huésped, en dondese reduce la recombinacion somática indeseada entre la secuencia reguladora en el gen quimérico y la secuencia reguladora nativa correspondiente en elplástido de la planta huésped. Molécula de ácido nucleico para ser usada en dicho método, gen quimérico, vector de transformacion de planta, y planta,célula de planta,semilla de planta, tejido de planta, o plástido de planta transgénicas, que comprende cada uno dicho gen quimérico.
