Abstract
Un cassette de expresión génica para vegetales inducible químicamente que comprende un primer promotor ligado operativamente a una secuencia reguladoraderivada del gen alcR y que codifica una proteína reguladora, y un promotor inducible ligadooperativamente a un gen de interés que codifica una proteinadanina para insectos o cuya expresión induce una vía metabólica productora de un metabolito danino para insectos, con dicho promotor inducible activado porla proteina reguladora en presencia de un inductor exógeno efectivo por medio del cual la aplicación del inductor provoca la expresión del gen de interés. Lainvención también se refiere a una célula vegetal que contiene dicho cassette; un tejido vegetal y una planta que comprendela célula vegetal; una semilla quederiva de la planta y un método para controlar insectos que comprende la transformación de una célula vegetal.
