Abstract
Se proporcionan copolímeros de polietileno lineal bimodal de baja densidad (copolímeros de B-LLDPE) que tienen una combinación de propiedades mejoradas que comprenden al menos una característica de procesabilidad similar o mejor que la de un ZN-LLDPE monomodal no mezclado y una propiedad de impacto de dardo similar o mejor que la de un MCN-LLDPE monomodal no mezclado. Para los diversos aspectos, el copolímero de B-LLDPE tiene una densidad de 0.8900 a 0.9300 g/cm3; un índice de fusión (I2) de 0.1 g/10 min a 5 g/10 min; un Mz de 600,000 a 1,200,000 g/mol; y un contenido de extraíbles de hexano presente en un valor de hasta 2,6 % en peso según se mide de acuerdo con ASTM D-5227:95. El copolímero de B-LLDPE puede caracterizarse además por una primera relación de flujo de fusión (I21/I2) de 25 a 65 y una primera relación de peso molecular (Mz/Mw) de 3.5 a 5.5.
