Abstract
Se describe una planta y un proceso para la producción continua de tiras de acero laminadas en caliente con un espesor mínimo de 0.3 mm, que comprende un dispositivo de fundición continua (1) de planchas delgadas o medianas con un espesor entre 40 y 150 mm y un ancho máximo de al menos 2100 mm seguido de un molino de desbaste (2), un primer horno de inducción, un descascarillador de agua, un segundo horno de inducción, un molino de acabado, una estación de enfriamiento, una estación de corte y una estación de bobinado, un sistema de alimentación de una atmósfera protectora que contiene =3% vol. de oxígeno proporcionándose al menos desde la entrada del segundo horno de inducción a la tercera caja del molino de acabado, y comprendiendo además, entre el dispositivo de fundición continua (1) y el molino de desbaste (2), una sección inicial de acondicionamiento térmico y descascarillado (4) que comprende en secuencia un calentador de borde de inducción (4.1), un calentador de inducción (4.2) para el resto de la superficie de la plancha y un desincrustante de agua (5).
