Abstract
La invención proporciona un sistema (200) que comprende (i) una fuente de luz (220) configurada para proporcionar radiación (221), en donde la radiación (221) comprende al menos radiación UV; (ii) un elemento de guía de onda (1210) que comprende una ventana de salida de la radiación (230), en dondel elemento de guía de onda (1210) se configura para recibir al menos parte de la radiación (221) y para irradiar al menos parte de la radiación (221) al exterior del elemento de guía de onda (1210) a través de la ventana de salida de la radiación (230) y se configura para reflejar internamente parte de la radiación (221) en la ventana de salida de la radiación (230); (iii) un sensor óptico (310) configurado para detectar una intensidad del reflejo interno (I) de la radiación reflejada internamente (221); y (iv) un sistema de control (300), acoplado funcionalmente al sensor óptico, y configurado para reducir la intensidad de la radiación (221) como función de alcanzar un primer umbral predeterminado de una reducción de la intensidad del reflejo interno (I) en el tiempo.
