Abstract
La invención provee una secuencia de ácido nucleico que comprende una secuencia de nucleótidos contiguos, en donde dicha secuencia de nucleótidos contiguos tiene por lo menos 90% de identidad de secuencia con la secuencia de ácido nucleico de SEQ ID NO: 1, y en donde dicha secuencia de nucleótidos contiguos codifica una proteína de BoNT/E1 de cadena sencilla. La presente invención también provee métodos para producir proteína de BoNT/E1 de cadena sencilla soluble en una célula hospedera de E. coli, con los métodos para producir proteínas de BoNT/E1 de di-cadena 10 soluble.
