Abstract

Un esquema de proceso para la síntesis de metanol a gran escala que comprende uno o más reactores de agua en ebullición y uno o más reactores de flujo radial en serie, el(los) reactor(es) de agua en ebullición es(son) alimentado(s) con gas sintético de reposición aproximadamente nuevo. El circuito de síntesis de metanol comprende una compresora de gas de reposición K1, una compresora de gas de reciclaje K2, dos o más convertidores de agua en ebullición para la síntesis de metanol (A1, A2,..), un convertidor de flujo radial (B) para la síntesis de metanol, un colector de vapor (V1), un separador de alta presión (V2), un separador de baja presión (V3), intercambiadores de calor del efluente de alimentación (E1 y E2), una columna de lavado (C), un enfriador de aire (E3) y un enfriador de agua (E4).
