Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con un método para producir L-metionina en el cual se realiza el cultivo de un microorganismo en presencia de L-homoserina y mercaptano de metilo, una sal de los mismos o disulfuro de dimetilo, mediante lo cual la L-metionina es acumulada en el medio de cultivo.
