Abstract

Las modalidades descritas se relacionan a una composición y/o combinación, y a un método para administrar la misma como un alimento, o para suplementar el alimento de, animales acuáticos, particularmente para acuacultivo. Las modalidades descritas de composición y/o combinación pueden comprender glucano, sílice, arcilla mineral, mananos, yuca, quillaja, un probiótico y/o un agente adhesivo. El agente adhesivo se puede seleccionar particularmente para facilitar la administración a especies acuáticas. En ciertas modalidades el agente adhesivo comprende un aceite, tal como aceite de soja, o un jarabe, tales como melazas, o combinaciones de los mismos. En algunas modalidades la composición y/o combinación además puede comprender polifenol, un antimicrobiano y/o una vacuna.
