Abstract
En la presente invención se proporcionan métodos para generar cepas de microalgas con propiedades mejoradas respecto a las cepas de las cuales se derivan. En las realizaciones ilustrativas, los métodos se realizan para producir cepas de microalgas adaptadas para su uso en la producción industrial de productos de biomasa derivados de microalgas incluidos, sin carácter limitante, triglicéridos y ácidos grasos. También se proporcionan cepas de microalgas, que se pueden obtener utilizando los métodos descritos en la presente, así como también productos de biomasa derivados de microalgas, que se pueden producir a partir de tales cepas de microalgas.
