Abstract
La invención se refiere a un gastroscopio (1) con un tubo (2) flexible de introducción, en cuyo extremo (3) distal está dispuesto un sensor (4), comprendiendo el sensor (4) un primer electrodo (5) de un metal noble, que no puede atacarse mediante ácido, y un segundo electrodo (6) de plata, y pudiendo aplicarse entre el primer electrodo (5) y el segundo electrodo (6) una tensión eléctrica y, en el caso de presencia de amoniaco, pudiendo medirse entre el primer electrodo (5) y el segundo electrodo (6) una modificación de una magnitud eléctrica. Un gastroscopio de este tipo permite un examen del ácido gástrico así como del tejido de la mucosa gástrica para determinar la presencia de Helicobacter pylori, que sólo es un poco molesto para el paciente.
