Abstract
Se proporcionan procesos para utilizar una combinación de dióxido de carbono y oxígeno en la deshidrogenación de hidrocarburos. Un material de alimentación de hidrocarburos, dióxido de carbono y oxígeno se alimentan a un sistema reactor de deshidrogenación oxidativa que contiene uno o más catalizadores que promueven la deshidrogenación del material de alimentación de hidrocarburos para producir un producto hidrocarburo deshidrogenado. Pueden emplearse los procesos de la presente invención, por ejemplo para producir monómero de estireno por deshidrogenación de etilbenceno utilizando como oxidantes dióxido de carbono y oxígeno.
