Abstract

Una composición de recubrimiento que comprende un producto de reacción de un tetra-alcoxiortosilicato o un oligómero condensado de manera parcial de la misma y una resina epoxi que contiene grupos de hidroxilo, dicha composición de recubrimiento teniendo un contenido de sólidos de por lo menos 70% en volumen y/o un contenido orgánico volátil (VOC) que no excede 250 g/l. Esta composición de recubrimiento proporciona una curación rápida a temperaturas ambiente y sub-ambiente y una vida en el recipiente extendida.
