Abstract
La presente invención es una dispersión de poliuretano de contenido de sólido ultra-alto, y un proceso continuo para producir dispersiones de poliuretano de contenido de sólido ultra-alto. La dispersión de poliuretano de contenido de sólido ultra-alto incluye el producto de reacción de: (1) un primer componente, en donde el primer componente es un primer prepolímero de poliuretano o una primera emulsión de prepolímero de poliuretano; (2) un segundo componente, en donde el segundo componente es un segundo prepolímero de poliuretano, una segunda emulsión de prepolímero de poliuretano, una dispersión de poliuretano de contenido de sólido bajo, un látex de semilla, o combinaciones de los mismos; (3) y un extendedor de cadena. La dispersión de poliuretano de contenido de sólido ultra-alto tiene un contenido de sólido de al menos 60 por ciento en peso del sólido, con base en el peso total de la dispersión de poliuretano de contenido de sólido ultra-alto, y una viscosidad en el rango de menos de 5000 cps a 20 rpm a 21ºC usando el huso #4 con viscosímetro de Brookfield. El método para producir una dispersión de poliuretano de contenido de sólido alto incluye los siguientes pasos: (1) proporcionar una primera corriente, en donde dicha primera corriente comprendiendo un primer prepolímero de poliuretano o una primera emulsión de prepolímero de poliuretano; (2) proporcionar una segunda corriente, en donde dicha segunda corriente que es una fase media seleccionada del grupo que consiste de un segundo prepolímero de poliuretano, una segunda de prepolimero de poliuretano, una dispersión de prepolimero de poliuretano, una emulsión de látex de semillas, o combinaciones de (os mismos; (3) fusionar de manera continua dicha primera corriente con dicha segunda corriente en la presencia de un extendedor de cadena; y (4) formando por ello una dispersión de poliuretano teniendo un contenido de sólido de al menos 60 por ciento en peso del sólido, con base en el peso total de la dispersión de poliuretano de contenido de sólido ultra-alto, y una viscosidad en el rango de menos de 5000 cps a 20 rpm a 21ºC usando huso #4 con viscosímetro de Brookfield.
