Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a una composición alimenticia útil para disminuir la cantidad de sodio mientras mantiene una alta salinidad percibida de la composición alimenticia. La composición alimenticia comprende una fase particulada y una fase soluble y una distribución de sodio selectiva entre las fases por lo cual la cantidad de sodio en la fase particulada es al menos 4% en peso, más preferiblemente al menos 10% en peso, más preferiblemente al menos 15% en peso y muy preferiblemente al menos 20% en peso, y preferiblemente a lo mucho 99.99% en peso, más preferiblemente a lo mucho 99% en peso, más preferiblemente a lo mucho 90% en peso, muy preferiblemente a lo mucho 70% en peso por peso de la cantidad total de sodio en la fase particulada y soluble.
