Nothing more beautiful than a story about bonds and purpose with stray cats portrayed as delinquent humans.
I wasn't sure what I was getting into when I started this series, I mean, I love cats, at the time of writing I have 6, and I do like delinquent stories, so I had to give it a shot. I'm glad I did, since it was a very good read!
Plot wise it works very well, the author don't drift too much, if at all, it is very concise and execute, with a clear direction to follow. Here we follow the story of Ryuusei, a stray cat that is looking for a rare Tom from his past, he goes from town to town, until he gets to Nekonaki, where he ends up staying for a while...
You could split this in 2 parts: first one, very introductory, you get to know our MC, get used with the other cats, learn more about them and get more involved with their stories, then we get to the second half, where shit gets real, there is a shift from all fun and laughs to a more serious tone, with the cats silly faces.
Art is solid. I really like how it's consistent and clearly drawn, so it's easy to understand action sequences and follow scenes
Overall great work, definitely should read if you like cats and/or delinquent stories
