Ye..except for weather being up and down since it isn't spring quite yet.
Wait... regarding Happy Sugar Life. Shio's mental health massively declines after Satou's death, no? It's not like she's escaped a toxic relationship from her PoV. She became Satou in a way. I read that the Manga continued the story for a little bit, to show her but I could be wrong.
Trust and Betrayal is the OVA adaptation of Rurouni Kenshin's flashback arc. It's about a young samurai who takes part in the Bakumatsu revolution in the 1860s. It takes place in the same continuity as the 90s Rurouni Kenshin anime, but production values, violence, and tone are elevated. I don't know if it is as effective, if you watch it without having seen the anime/read the manga. While it does take place around 10 years before the manga, the arc itself doesn't happen until 2/3 in. But you can probably watch it in isolation.
Kenshin has had 4 different adaptations (90s anime, 2012 movie, live action movies, and an anime that is currently airing). The 90s one is great, albeit a little slow while it adapts the manga. When they ran out of material they started doing filler arc, which were reviewed overwhelmingly negative, as a result the anime was cancelled before it could cover the final manga arcs.
Kenshin is around 40% filler, so the anime is only 65 episodes long. Relatively short for a shonen anime, which I prefer, and if we only take the canon portions then it's one of my favorite shonen series of all time.
I also like the live action films. The new anime I am not much of a fan of, but it will likely cover the entire manga.
As for why I didn't enjoy the finale, that was due Satou's sudden incompetence, and the overly contrived order of events that lead them up that roof. I understand what the author was going for, but the way it was achieved was so dissatisfying, it retroactively soured my enjoyment of the entire series.
If I list everything, this will take forever, so here are the reasons for 5 of my picks.
I also like Neko, and think K is highly underrated.
≧◠‿◠≦✌
I haven't watched Sousou no Frieren yet but I'll soon, do u know anything about the S2 release?
And thanks for friend request. What do you think of The Eminence in Shadow?
I mean it kinda is but he never interacts with all of them at once..there's always someone left out so..it's more like love polygon thingy.
Not really..as I mostly watch the more forgetable animes at night..and even then I never pick all animes at once when they debut..I have like 13-15 titles that I didn't pick up yet from autumn season xD (since Next Summit new episodes coming out the week after and so is Fumetsu S2 starting out later this month).
Ye..Kenshin '99 was the best anime Kenshin so far..the other one I watched as well back then but the last third is basically fillers that axed the anime you could say in politic terms xD
- Nice..wonder if you can grow into it over the time the further in season wise you're
- Ye..it was all over the forums and outside the MAL as well..still the best web manga adaptation sequel of the previous season
- Ahh ye..for me it took time to get into the franchise back then as I prefered Idolmaster when it made its debut in that era..it kinda varies depending on what they watch the show for..some like the previous generation better since it has more songs and more characters while the recent gen (Superstar) is more focused on the goals of the one unit in the end with less songs but more character conversations which created more haters than before during/after S2
- Ye..would recommend to maybe start manga first but it's up to you. It's basically slow and you get more characters to explore over the time..kinda like in Monogatari LN franchise
- Okay..just don't be shocked by the anime original ending in S1 that is repaired at the start of S2..was similar situation in Tensura S1 to S2 as well
- Ye..some people might find it repeating but then again you explore the past 15 years of the uncle MC and what he went through in another world with his backseating nephew and his crush (lol)
- Okay..though Yojouhan Time Machine Blues also turned out to be suprising yet amazing comeback..though I maybe would've liked it more in movie format since of 1st episode being double-lenght compared to the remaining five being only 15-mins
Hmm.Akiba Maid Sensou is amongst my TOP5 non-sequels even if I wait for the scared of blood maid to grow some backbone like Rock did eventually back then in BLACK LAGOON lol.Chainsawman is hovering in my seasonal TOP5-7 overall for the time being but the thing is the manga content gets better in 2nd half so..who knows where I end up ranking it as it is sandwiched between BLUE LOCK and Spy x Family 2nd cour ranking wise.Bocchi the Rock is my fav non-sequel of the season..the way it's drawn the character and the mood flows feels like that 2007-2008 era - something before K-on! happened xD
Do it Yourself! is fine but the initial characters aren't immersive enough compared to what they're working on for the club itself..maybe needs chemistry then platonic relationship between them seen on the surface level.
My fav animes so far in this season is Idolish7 S3 2nd cour (''The Joker'' rank 0),Mob Psycho 100 S3 and Golden Kamuy 4th cour and thne followed up by Bocchi the Rock! and Sennen Kessen-hen to make my current TOP5 of the season.
That sounds rough I guess..never was really fan of customer service even as part-timer in Sportisimo...the stock management or whatever close to it was always the more calming stuff tempo wise.Well, studying is something I did like what..decade ago? (lol).I'm having full-time job but it's not really job most of the time as it is somehing where I can watch anime and stuff during the night shifts.
