THIS REVIEW CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS!
This show is shit.
1. For show which is suppose to be grounded and mature it has no subtlety at all, all the bad guys are cartoonishly evil and look alike too, its slightly short of having huge arrow signs saying "I am the bad guy you need to hate" like they are doing shitty Tucker cosplay from Danny Phantom. A director at school what is he? a pedophile, A guy who adopted a child from a shelter? A Pedophile! A lady do runs the shelter? well she actually is a illegal weapon smuggler ha who are we kidding
...
she is an obviously pedophile!! Their only reason of existence is to crowbar in the drama, they are shallow and boring.
2. Idea of criminals going through a rebirth and finishing their sentence as new men is a good premise but you need your characters to actually be fucking criminals. You can't have a redemption arc if guy is jailed for beating up teacher who raped his classmate, or Parent who tried to rape them or if guy survives of stealing food because his house and rest of his family got nuked or and stay with me here, Our guy getting jailed because he said something mean to his alcoholic father, who ended up killing themselves, so he feels guilty for father's death.
3.Solider who is most tolerable character doesn't get an arc. But gotta give a blondie his Justin Bieber arc.
4. This goes back to 1st point about crowbaring drama in. Show isn't smart enough do to in a way that is natural, so instead it has some absurdly illogical sequences and makes characters do some truly mind numbing actions.
A drunk guy assaults a bar owner, breaks property, assaults one of workers and gets beaten up and thrown out. Only for him to return next day with police who are arresting guy who kicked drunken because of "serious injuries he inflected" . Idea of serious injuries is dubious as we see him walking around with no scuff marks 3 days after the incident so whoever examined him needs to have their medical license stripped not to mention police never wondering why a drunk guy might get kicked out of a bar. But noo that would be smart, but we have drama to push and so our scooby gang with power of friendship have to save their friend.
P.S Im gonna mention one part which seems to be overlooked, but trying to have a romantic relationship and then having sex with woman who your recently deceased friend wanted to marry is fucked up on so many levels that trying to paint horny pants in any positive light after it is fucking impossible.
5.Animation is good but out of place, as rest of show is just silly mess, such realistic and dready art style only solidifies what it wanted to be and what it actually turned out to be, a failure. Although fight scenes especially boxing matches were fluid and filled with momentum.
6.Sound tracks are lacking, while opening is good as it sets up mood for tough prison life its out of place for second half show which is alot more light hearted and happy per say. Ending song was rather good, not something worth listening on its but nether the less well done. Its hard to say anything about rest of the sound tracks. none of melodies exactly sticked or made impression on me, likely because what ever scene they accompanied was uninteresting.
This isn't a a mature show, its a children's show with vastly unfitting art and illustration. It has depth if you are a cyclopes. It has drama rivaled by cringiness of soap opera. It is nothing more that just a hollow, low effort shlock.

The Ancient Magus' Bride had one of strongest starts I have seen, a centuries old, huge Humanoid monster with bonehead barging in an secret auction to buy a girl for 5 million pounds claiming to make her his pride. Like holy shit just Imagine all the possibilities and stories this can build it, but keep Imagining it cause show it self does nothing with it.
1. This comes from same studio who gave us Attack on Titan, Kabaneri Fortress,The Empire of Corpses and Vinland Saga and Vinland saga. All mentioned above, except Vinland Saga which should be erased, are visually
...
stunning shows/movies. This show isn't any different, particles, lights and shadows then spells are cast are amazing ,layer this intricately drawn characters and scenery and viewing truly becomes experience on its own.
2.While second opening sounds like is performed by grade schooler on his first karaoke night, rest of show's musical score with its magical melodies and tunes does good job at enhancing scenes they accompany. While only ost I would listen on its would be first opening, after finishing the show and listening full ost, it is something worth listening to if one likes soft, soothing soundtracks to calm down to.
3.Despite being great from technical stand point, then it comes to overall story and characters it's anything between mediocre to lack luster. While not being amazingly well written, Chise is cohesive and interesting character. Watching her battle depression and feeling worthlessness as she travels the magical world is entertaining also saddening (especially if you are a sucker for emotional shows or things such as depression are alot more personal to you). However while thats all and good, Elias, 400 year old mage, who is suppose to be most interesting part of the show and one to drive the plot end up being rather bland , uninteresting character who is more of passive observer of the plot than Chise. This really starts to hurt the show in second half as magical world introduction honey moon has passed , show starting to slow down banking on amassed momentum to carry it to the end. This becomes especially clear in final arc as one character points out to Elias that up until that point he had no goal with which Elias agrees. So what was he doing for last 20 episodes aside from poorly baby sitting Chise. See this is even stupider if we remember that mid way through the show we learn what his plans for Chise are, but he never ends up acting on them, as if he has forgotten why he paid 5 million pounds for a school girl. One could make several paraghraps long essay with all the issues and wrongs with Elias and his character.
Overall any potential Elias had as ancient mage is never released and hence heartbreakingly wasted.
I could also mention pathetically weak Villain whose existence is crossbreed in only to puff out a lifeless attempt at creating tention.
I have not even touched on to world building and side characters but at this point I would be wasting time, writer who can't even create mediocere protagonist and villain surely doesn't have talent to create interesting side characters or modern world infused with magical entities.
4. Would I recommend The Ancient Magus' Bride? Well I am above mentioned sucker for feeling and so it did manage to get tear or two out of me so i can't completely disregard it but looking back it is not that significant of the show so unless you have no other show to watch or want to waste time ,
You could watch it but its not a show I would out right recommend to someone.
6/10, ehh it was fine

Somali to Mori no Kamisama could have been pretty good fantasy version of "Lone dude takes care of small child" troupe but it is let down by poor writing and lazy world building.
See this type of shows largely bank on viewers to feel empathy and affection towards cute defenseless child. So wherever or not you will enjoy the show.
Reason this show failed to captivate me was becuase it writing was shallow , it just did bare minimum to check all "Small child, scary world" boxes.
1. Characters are horribly written. Somali isn't much of character, just an object viewers to
...
adore over, see Rin from Usagi drop and Girls fron Hinamatsuri were also adorable but they were well written. They had goals, insecurities ,passions and hopes. While all Somali has is that she is small child and cute, she goes from some one viewer should get attached to but end ups being disliked and irritating due how hollow she is. Second Character Golem isn't any better if not worse, writers try to actually flesh out Golem but end up failing as Golem's thoughts and action often contradict with reality, so instead of being objectively thinking he comes off as ignorant . Example of this happens as early as 3rd episode, it is stated that Golem unable to feel emotion yet says that he felt pain around his chest when he saw Somali crying, yet keeps on denying that he can feel emotions.
Either writers couldn't fine way to grow Golem as character with out emotions or didn't plan ahead, so premise of emotionless golem is poorly executed or thought out.
With Somali who is a lifeless doll and Golem being teenager in denial an interactions they have lose all impact, making changes in their relationship or characters forced and unnatural.
2. Well with mediocre central characters, what could have made show semi good to watch would its world building but judging by attitude of this review its clear that its not. Here is how first world building is done:
Golem- I am looking for humans
Monster A- humans? i have not seen them for such long time
Monster B- hey, I forgot what happened to humans , could you tell me the story of why humans are are so rare?
Monster C- uhh, *looks at camera* *proceeds to give few minutes long exposition dump*
when this happened I was convinced that show was being self aware but nope same happens over and over in the show, minutes long exposition.
Even that aside fantasy aspect only seems to be a reskin so that show fits in with current Isekai trends. Only thing it does is to make Somali look extra precious since humans are rare.
Art style is pretty standard, show is colorful with its environments and monsters but its not something worth watching show over.
Same goes for sound tracks. they were adequate but not enough to be remembered on their own and
since they accompanied overall poorly written show, there aren't scenes or moments to associate with.
Overall Somali to Mori no Kamisama is low effort, piss poor of a show, there are shows who do father daughter relationship better or do better job setting up interesting and captivating fantasy world.

Easiest way to explain this should would be if expection bar was low as it possible could be , like its on the fucking ground , Denpa-teki na Kanojo sees this, gives a smirky look and proceeds to start digging tunnel underneath the bar.
Denpa-teki na Kanojo is one of hollowest work of anime i have ever watched to the point that i was pretty sure this was a troll show made deliberately to be absolute trash and i feel like idiot for falling for low level bait.
moving on , this show is listed as mystery thriller, school although it should say
...
"complete dumpster trash".
Listen show then cast consists of 4 characters and 2 are protagonists and one is killed, its doesnt take collective deducing power of L, Sherlock and every detective in existence to guess who murder might fucking be.
thriller , well yes if in about 40 minutes of watching there are bout 2 frames showing dead bodies counts as thriller . So you not going to be getting any juvenile violence to entertain you.
ah yes school . Well school part is just excuse to have characters be high schoolers and so that sho can go "booooh look at this high schoolers being guilty and making yandere faces booohh so scaaary'
I'll be frank unless your 6 or your definition of horror includes shitily edited ghost videos from 2010 youtube, this show is one of laziest works of fiction you will come across and I advise to go watch something else like Shiki

Toilet-bound Hanako-kun more like Nene please stop screaming for 5 seconds-kun is another show in "apparition" genre where cast goes around solving bunch of mysteries regarding spirits, ghosts and beings of similar manner, xxxHOlic and Mushishi series comes to mind. None mentioned above really did a good job in this regard so i was hoping this show would and at first it did look so, but after about 6 episodes entire show fell apart from me.
Visually show is very pleasing.
Overall design is amazing , usually modern animes all look very slick in how they are drawn
...
which isn't bad but does get repetitive , however Toilet-bound Hanako-kun seems to have alot more cartoony feel to it, its bit hard to describe but overall ascetics have a lot more of grip. Reminded me of old Gibli movies.
Secondly it felt more like animated manga rather than anime. Each frame often was made up of several panels with noticeable borders between them, with each focusing on different aspects of the scene. Not only this was pretty unique it changed the viewing experience all togethe,r as now show can use said panels to focus on one sole important aspects of the scene or present small bits of information which aren't important enough to have whole screen dedicated to them but do add depth and interest to the story.
If it wasn't clear enough i really liked and enjoyed art style and animation of Toilet-bound Hanako-kun, so it hurts me see story failing over wise such well done anime.
What usually causes which are about apparitions is that on episode to episode basis they aren't interesting enough or have lack luster or none existent over arcing plot and this show ticked both of those boxes.
Show fails per episode basis because it follows same repetitive structure.
1.There is rumor of apparition 1
2. Nene goes to Hanako to talk about it
3. They go out to solve it
4. At some point Nene gets in trouble with certainty she is about to die or get harmed
5. Heroic Hanako saves her very last second
this structure is fine for like 3-4 episodes but not for entire season. Nene having near death experiences first few times serves good purpose. It shows what she is getting into is dangerous line of work and also paints Hanako in positive light as he saves the heroine.
After first few episodes trying to convince audience that Nene is any actual danger and isn't going to be saved by Hanako like he did 6 times before well for lack of better term is poorly thought out.
btw did I say how much Nene screams? cause she does fuck ton. Show relies on her scream to bring tention in any fight scene and also act as comedic relief by have Nene have over the top reaction to everyday moments.
Hanako while having potential always felt incoherent , a scene of him fooling around is abrupted by him suddenly getting emotional and serious. I understand that idea is that he is actually caring person but has light hearted persona, but it messes with entire show its hard get invested in him or any scene he is in because it can change back and worth between 2 stays at any moment.
Minamoto is largely neglected it would have been interesting if show focused more of his origins and his battle between following family traditions and finding his own way to live but all really gets is 2 episode arc with non lasting effects.
apparitions were fine, they weren't shows weak park but were far from being its strong point as well.
OSTs were overall good. Opening song was a stand out for me personally, rest of songs didn't leave any lasting impression but I suspect this was more due to rest of show being emotionally hollow, there is only so much song can do then it has to accompany a mediocre story.
Overall Toilet-bound Hanako-kun is visually amazingly executed show with disappointing characters and lack luster plot.
Its not show worth watching although, one could still watch it for its creative presentation.
I reached episode 10 and was so indifferent towards story I didn't bother to watch last two.

Since Parasyte an action anime with underlaying ideas, reason behind watching it can be different based on what they are ire interested in, is it the action, fight scenes and the gore or how Show discuses and explores ideas of human interaction with rest of eco system, overpopulation and morality? While viewer should be interested in both aspects to fully enjoy the show, I have good knows for those who don’t. It is that whether you only like story or action you will be equally disappointed in shows poor executing of both halves.
Show tries do dive into complex topic of humanity and our interaction
...
with rest of the world and in 24 episodes it does fuck all to actually develop a thought process or give an interesting way of looking at the issue, instead it resorts to low effort , surface level moral preaching and virtue signaling.
Show wants parasites to seen as product of ecosystem and human actions, so that their goal of human extinction is Humanity’s fault . Problem is though neither of it is true, it’s never truly shown there they came from, but they clearly aren’t from earth rather some alien species who happened to land on our planet.
So, unless our planet sent out some wuju signals to invite them over for cup of tea and human intestines, trying to portray them anything over them alien invaders seem silly.
Secondly , parasites are supposedly have a drive to exterminate humanity, yeah alright but that’s a lie, early on we see parasite who attached to a dog killing dogs so, drive is to kill species which parasite inhabited, ones who happen to take control over humans have driven to kill humans. If that wasn’t enough parasites seem to only really kill then they need to eat, and on top of that it is shown that parasites can survive solely on human food and some do implying they don’t even kill human’s but exist in their society.
So, show undermines its main idea with it whatever it was trying to build on top of it.
Even if you were to miss all of that, show does awful job of exploring human over population, our morality and etc.
You see most if not all good works of fiction can be viewed and enjoyed at different depths. This is true for almost any semi decent work of literature and its same with anime and I will give you few examples.
Demi-chan wa Kataritai can be viewed as a Moe slice of life show about few high schoolers and they teachers and its fucking great show. But it can also be seen as a commentary of how individuals with special needs try to function with rest of society and how support, love and care can help them overcome life’s challenges.
One punch man is a show of awesome super here punching the shit out of monsters, but it also explores themes of human happiness and how overcoming challenges, difficulties is as important for human happiness as our hobbies.
Psycopass is show about detective squad who try and catch terrorist in future dystopian japan, but it’s also about human conciseness, how much of us do we really have control over or if we even have any control over our actions and desires.
This are 3 but there are hundreds of not thousand examples.
Now how does Parasyte manage with this,
Well animation is adequate, it’s not good but its good enough not to be called shitty, fight scenes aren’t creative nor have interesting choreography, there seems to be only 2 osts show has slow melody for “feel” moments and some dubstep/hip hop mix for action sequences.
Voice actions was weak and none of character’s left an impression on me, main and side heroines only really exist so that protagonist to project security and safety over and get mad when they get hurt, rest of cast is even more insignificant.
Story itself is disappointing, it had strong start combining gore, horror and mysterious degraded as show went on with very uninspired final antagonist
Well that half is shit but my its commentary is better, I hear you asking in dishopefull voice, unfortunate aside from few interesting dialogs in first few episodes show has nothing give aside from excuse that was final narration where it does shiftiest moral preaching of most cookie cutter opinions and ideas. Either show thinks its viewers are 3rd graders and need to have premise of the show chewed out and presented for them to understand or it released how horrible it handled rest of episodes and stuffed final commentary as hail marry to salvage the mess.
Overall, I found Parasyte waste of time to watch, far from something I would recommend.
But sitting at 8.47 its clear that a lot of people have enjoyed the show immensely so it is up to you to decide who to believe.
Final Score 3/10

xxx.....xxxxxx.xxxx...xxxx..xxxHolic xxx.xxxxxx.xxxx follows story of Watanuki high schooler who started working for Ichihara ,type of exorcists/spiritual helper and with her guidelines Watanuki explores spiritual world of ghosts .
I can't really call show uninspired since it came out in 2006, way before mongatari series, Mushi-shi or most over shows which are about super natural phenomenons middle of normal life. But unlike shows which all take this story aspect in their own direction, Holic doesn't really do anything interesting with the concept, but that's not here nor there ,show has few issues but this isn't really one of em.
Anime stories follow two
...
structure types. Either, they are linear narrative shows where every episode servers to move the story forward or there are episodic shows like Holic which tell individual summed up stories in each episode or on span of few.
Making plot episodic means thats each episode needs to carry their own weight, a slow or rushd episode can't be compensated or be hidden behind overall well made show like one can with linear stories and xxxHolic doesnt do that. Each individual episode isn't exciting or interesting to watch.
A. Charecters aren't interesting. Watanuki main traits are him being loud and over reacting to everything and having crush on Himawari. Shizuka is always calm and collected , looking like he is business veteran even tho he only started 1 week ago. Himawari well she doesn't really do anything as far as her motives or interests go. and Yuuko main female is know all who just is used as source of exposition and to wrap up each episode.
Their interactions are repetetive, its very stale and boring, once you seen it once you have seen it all.
B. Animation is choppy. Im not talking about character design, their absurdly slim nature didn't bother me as much it seems to have other people. but animation and movements are awkward and lack fluidity.
C. Well story in each episode is expected . Evil spirit appears for Reason B and our skooby do gang deals with situation with method C.
So what we end up with is a episodic show with no overall narrative to make each individual episode worth tanking through, and each episode is complete shit.
Bit of Trivia, i started watching Watanuki to be to some level narcisisst but competent individual and show would be about his introduction and mastery of all matters spiritual(something like Yagami or lelouch).Well that what it looked liked based on its poster and i didn't want to read reviews and etc cause maximum enjoyment its best to get into show with as little knowledge about it as possible. Imagine high hopes i had and their following destruction then watenuki ended up being whiny brat who would complain about being tasked with a job and yet finishing it 5 minutes latter .
I ended up dropping show little after half after i realized show wants going anywhere with Watanuki or any of characters.
To so um it up, show is trash, animation is aslide show, world it self is boring and characters are one of the most horribly written i have seen

No Guns life and its universe show great potential to develop in something great and truly meaningful. Potential on its own can't justify show short coming , its is important to keep big picture in mind.
On surface it can be seen and watched as action packed, noir show about Dude with gun on his head, beating up bad guys and being overall awesome and cool. If someone sees this show like that, its fine cause thats what show is about.
However it can also be seen as gruesome depiction of late-state capitalism where everything and everyone is a product. Extension
...
don't exist to help people, but are used as schemes to get people dependent on medicine, maintenance and constant improvements. People are tools meant to be exploited for wealth.
It also can be seen as show about Post war soldier. Juzo being born to be nothing more than killing tool for military which created him and see how he struggles to find purpose in civilian life as well as battle against this idea that he just a tool meant to be used.
What makes these themes even more appealing is that , show combines them well with its light hearted moments and action scenes that it doesn't come out as surface level preaching and virtue signaling.
At what layer you decide to watch the show is upto to the viewer, although understanding that there is more to the show when just some action scenes, would let one enjoy the show to another level.
Although there are things which nag me.
1. Characters over all well designed , their appearance is distinctive and fit well into over all art style of the show. However, it might be age thing, turning 22 that surface level fan service rubs me the wrong way. Fact that out of 5 female characters, 2 are ninja nuns who were undersized triangle bra and stocking as their uniform, Olivier having massive and over exposed rack and even Scarlet being given standard large anime breasts. Was bit off putting. If show has to flash half naked women in first 10 minutes of show, it gives you certain expectation about then show.
2.Story in S1 isn't really that good. S1 seemed a lot more of an introduction to the world of No Guns Life, so there where a lot of few episode long arcs which didn't really go another, mainly served as character introduction and world building. However there is second season coming out in 2020, so depending on how good it is , viewing experience of overall show might be a lot different from just first season.
Those 2 nit picks aside show is pretty flawless. Art design and great, action scenes are directed well. Whenever juzo fights , you can feel the raw power and metalic hardness behind his blows.
all of this is support what I'd day pretty amazing osts, Opening has become one of my favorites.
When you get depressed anime fan to watch Opening for majority of episodes, thats job well done in my book.
TL;DR great looking show, with potential of exploring some interesting themes. You can watch it now and wait for S2 or wait until S2 comes out and watch both seasons back to back

For anyone reading this review,
I would suggest watching this show with out any prior knowledge as i think that if I were to have had read reviews, discussion boards it would have greatly diminished my viewing experience.
So If ur semi interested in the show, I would just jump into it. it's not that long at 24 episodes so its not big time investment compared to shows which span for several dozen if not hunder episodes.
if you were to just look at most of other reviews on mal, most of them seem low with alot of them being bellow 5 ,yet show
...
still has average rating for 7.7 which means that a significant portion of people did enjoy the show scored it 8 or higher.
One of weaknesses often mentioned is that characters didn't get time to develop or for viewer to be invested in, while this is true, time a-located for each character wasn't alot. This was to be expected , show's cast is pretty big , I'd say it was pretty impressive how much they did manage to fit into such short time window.
That aside even tho each one of em didn't get their own arcs dedicated to them, I found them very likely and enjoyable. This largely comes down to fact that they were pretty likable from the start, plus fact that show gave each of them their scenes to shine and i was attached to them right away.
Of course this is what's going to make or break the show for you .
This was also added on by their physical appearance, ascetics hit a cord with me and all of them drawn beautifully .
I personally think all the characters were great and was rooting for them no matter whose side they were on. So based on that show was very enjoyable for me and it still one of my favorites, every time i see maybe manga page or fan art , it brings back great memories.
Aside from characters, rest of show is pretty solid. fight scene choreography is entertaining and animation is anything between great to breath taking. Creators knew what their money shots were so most important scenes are truly amazing.
Sound and music are also very solid.
Overall It was very enjoyable show to watch, but it seems to be hit or miss with characters.
Well if u end up liking them this show might go down as one of or favorites.
If not, well you tried something new, not much was lost

Gray-man has to be one of most boring shows i have seen in a while.
I came in with out any prior knowledge of the show, it terms of story , animation or sound it didnt seem to have any real strong suit, story is pretty standard, animation and sound seemed nothing out of ordinary but with good execution of plot, even average anime could be entertaining to watch. Boy how fucking wrong was I.
I have dropped this show after barley reaching 50 episode mark
1.Story is pretty uninspiring, its basic shonen plot of evil entity Millenium Earl is trying to destroy the world and
...
its up to our protagonists and his friendly exorcicsts from Black Order. Almost all shonens follow this basic structure but good shonen builds up on this foundation with interesting characters, story, animation.
D.Gray-man has none of them.
2. Way it seems show doesn't really understand what it wants to be. It's animation isn't good enough to make fight scenes fun to watch or have viewers looking forward to them. its motionless and drained of life. This isnt rare un shonens however if you are going to save time and money or unimportant fights, then at very least show needs to make up for it by giving eye orgasming animation for important parts of the story. It doesn't happen in 50 episodes i have watched animation seems more fitting for slice of life than action shonen
But is poor animation only reason to drop the show? nope there is fuck tone more.
3. As we established this isn't show that is carried by its action scenes , then it's expected to make up by world building and characters. It falls flat here as well. Idea is that, to fight the evil entity who is named Earl, there exists secret organization named Black Order. Issue is parts of Black Order(I will call it B.O for short) make no logical sense and il give few examples.
Exibit A.
Presumably B.O is secret organisation, Its members should refrain talk about it, Earl, Exorscst, Akuma(this are work horse monsters of the show) or anything else. This makes no sense cause all of their members wear very distinct uniform and insignia and they make sure to introduce them selves to every town's people , farmer or wanderer they see on the road. One scene You can have B.O's leader stress how important secrecy is and in very next our protagonist is giving 5 minute speech about Black order.
Exibit B.
If that isn't illogical enough, Black Order only seems to hurt it self by remaining "Secretive". Akuma- they are main monsters of show are created by Earl. To create akuma, Earl needs to fine person who is grieving lost of loved one and with promise of bringing them back to life, asks grieving person to call out name of one they lost. Once Soul comes back to this world Earl turns it into akuma and has it do his bidding. This information seems would be very useful for public to know as it would likely reduce number of people who are tricked by Earl. But no Order keeps it private, letting Earl freely make more of his monsters.
Black Order makes itself look even bigger of a joke when they book hotels , train tickets and basiclly every other comidity in their own name. Real secretive you guys.
B.O seems to have unlimited funding as far as it seems and there is no real explanation who is paying for all of it.
4. If world building is trash, characters are radioactive waste. Main charter, Allen, is boring as fuck.
His main goal is to "Save as many people as possbile", fucking what. Generic ass goal. This seems to go for everyone else, none of characters strive for anything interesting. i have watched shows there Protagonist has absurd goals, but at least it's more interesting than this . Each of characters are same cookie cutter shonen good guys. Aside from psychical difference they have nothing defining about them.
They lack any resembles of charisma. Main protagonist can be lacking this trait, but in that case support cast needs to rise up and feel the role, but they can't.
This means that any scene featuring them is boring to watch, their dialogs are boring to listen to, i often found my self cheering for bad guys, cause i was so sick of seeing uninspired hacks strutting about.
5.Hold up there is plenty more. Aside from Black Order and entire cast being rather boring they also seem to be absurdly stupid.
Protagonist is assigned to find one of head Hanchos of Black Order, said Hancho also was teacher of our protagonists so, he is assigned tasks as its believed he has best chance of finding his old master. This task goes on for 20 dreading episodes with no real progress being made, until one of other Hanchos of B.O casually mentions that bats which followed protagonists around can Geo locate Allen's master. Fucking what? so what was point of last 20 episodes? Did no one in Black Order know this , or they thought it wasn't important part of information to disclose.
This is one but I ran into such mind boggling situations in every few episodes that I was doubting mental capacity of entire world of D.Gray-man. Maybe it not worth to safe this shit fest of the world.
It was becoming full on effort to not logically think about anything that happened in the show and at that point if I have to equal my mental capacity of that of a Koala to make watching show bearable, its time to stop and i did.
I recommend You do the same, it is such waste of time.
P.S this is not all of it, I could write several pages long report of why this is trash for several reasons.
Few things to include, show changing capability of protagonist to its fitness, villains and whole power system being unexplained mess, system of how exorcist fight .
