Oh, that's nice to know! I've only seen a few people with Elfen Lied in their favourite manga list. Looks like there're more than just three lol
If you do end up reading Elfen Lied, I think you'll find it better than the anime. However, many are put off by the artstyle. I hope you'll still enjoy it, though, whenever you may decide to read it. :)

Thank you for the compliment! In my mind 6’s are reserved for stuff that I ended up not liking as much but kept pressing on as either the artwork or the characters drew or compelled me to keep reading. (For example, my score for TPN is a 6 despite it falling off the rails, but there’s still a couple characters and moments alongside the brilliant artwork that kept me reading for the duration.) Jagaaaaan had neither of that, and was quite similar to a relationship with a burnt out friend from highschool; you keep hanging out with them out of pity, knowing they’re capable of much better.

Thanks for your kind words! I'm glad that some people got to read it and like it. Yeah, the author preferred to show us his personality focusing on the result of his actions, and not by explaining how he reached to this result. It doesn't bother some people but to me, it is sad to see something totally unrealistic happening without being justified, in a supposedly realistic world. And this way, the character gets minus points - he can never be "top tier". But he's an interesting character, nonetheless. :)
