i thought of Fushi too when i saw the poster but the first 2 eps gave me strong vinland saga vibes. i can tell its one of these serious and well written stories im soooo excited to watch more. my most fav thing about this anime is that i can never expect which turn the writer is gonna take next ESPECIALLY EP3!!! LIKE WHAT THE HELL MY JAW LITERALLY DROPPED!!! i mean sure its not the first time the mc dies in an anime but ????? BUT????????? how is the writer gonna revive him again??? is he even gonna be back??? i have no idea if rafal is even truly the mc any more lol im getting impatient this is the first time i wish to binge something in years lmao

Yes, I actually really like this one! I was worried it'd be like Urusei Yatsura's remake where I didn't enjoy the comedy but I like Ranma's silly story so far haha.

yeah the first ep of this anime took me by surprise cuz i usually dislike depressed mcs but this one got a fun cast who share the same hobby which is so fun to watch

on interesting question! i guess its the writer’s way to connect wakamiya and yukiya’s story by writing it that way so that the kid has to work for the prince lol jk i remember it was mentioned that several ppl tried working for the prince no one managed to last (understandable tbh lol). so i guess sumio alone managed fine so far but now that wakamiya was about to become the next heir he needs more ppl he can trust thus we have the whole yukiya-lasting-for-a-year test period lol (i hope i didnt spoil anything🙈 i checked and saw ure on ep7 but i dont remember when this was mentioned so ^^;;)
