Hello, Glordit! I'm glad you are my Secret Santa this year! You nailed my wishes.

I genuinely didn't expect much from Clevatess. And I was very wrong. It was such a powerfull burst of freshness! I got used to shows that try to appear for "adults" using a lot of unnecessary gore in the biginning, continuing it with cheesy plot about all that strong and evil, yet incredibly kind antihero. Most of them turn into your usual harem isekai with "unusual" protagonist by episode 4. That didn't happen with Clevatess: no foolishnes, no jokes, no echhi, just powerful story. I was even more shocked when "villain of the season" had decent background. I am definitelly in love with this show. I'm looking forward to second season. Probably will be reading manga in a month.
Update for this fragment 2 days after writing it: I've just found out that I have Clevatess in my subscription list on WEBTOON for some time (but have never read it). So, nothing stops me from reading it. Already on it.

Thank you big time for recommending me Rurouni Kenshin. It was one of the titles I wanted to watch so bad that I left it in my PTW (or even CW) for the next 100 years. I haven't watched original and I have never read manga, but now I want to watch first adaptation and second season of the new adaptation. It was decent show. I like emotional moments in media (basically I'm always ready to cry a lot), and Kenshin gave me those emotions. I especially liked the historical inserts and little descriptions of some things. That was really good.
