This is a beautiful BL romance anime with a happily ever after. There are no bad episodes and the characters are well rounded. I usually dislike the ‘dumb hardworking FL’ trope and thought I would hate it in this as well even though the lead is Male. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised that they develop the character so well - starts out being under confident, but realises true potential because of his partner and becomes a better person - emotionally and in his career. It’s a pretty interesting story with a world of rules and negators who have powers (mostly unwillingly) to negate them. The plot by itself sounded fun but I don’t think he watched an anime earlier that brings together shounen and shojo elements so well.
Undead Unluck is fast paced and keeps you interested throughout. I love the concept, the characters and their development. It’s funny, romantic, action packed and has leads you actually feel for. Andy seems initially as a beefy guy with no feels, and Fuko the quintessential shounen FL - all boobs and no use. But interestingly, their characters unveil to be both ...

I am forever going to be reminded of this anime every time I hear a wind-chime.
The element that draws one into this anime is the sound. The opening itself is so breezy and etheral. This tinkling sound style is consistent throughout the anime. All movements and emotions have the sound of chimes behind them. Never has a fight sequence been so beautifully and musically depicted. If the sound wasn't enough to make you watch this, it is topped by the art.
