Welcome to my profile! I like to update my favorites every few months or so, but my favorites can generally be described as heartwarming action comedies (like Mob Psycho 100, for example), but a show doesn't need to have all three traits for me to like them. In the past, I did my best to keep up with seasonals, but now I chose to just watch whatever interests me. Right now, I’m focusing on mecha and magical girl series, although that's not a set rule. I’ll give just about anything a try! That said, I'm going through an anime burnout period right now; so while it doesn't look like I'm giving much effort, I assure you I'm really trying.

I primarily grade based on enjoyment. Of course, I also think things like story, animation, art style, and OST, are important (and I do factor those qualities into my score), but enjoyment is what I value most! If I don't like a show, or if I think it's boring— I drop!

As for streaming services, I use HIDIVE, Crunchyroll, and occasionally Amazon Prime, Netflix and YouTube. I prefer watching on desktop, but I'll also cast it onto my TV or watch on my phone. I also have a Blu-Ray player which I sometimes use for anime, but I usually use it to watch non-anime stuff!

Fun fact: Calabre is a portmanteau of Cat and Library (don't think about that too hard). Additionally, the 006 is in reference to how many years I've been watching anime when I first made this account. I started watching anime in 2015, and I started using MAL in 2021... so bam! Calabre006!
