A manga by Serizawa Tomo.

The relationship between the main characters were written in quite the realistic way. But not only the relationship, the feelings of loneliness each one of them felt separately was conveyed wonderfully. The build-up to romance wasn't unnatural or too fast either which made it really nice to read. The opposite sides of the main characters balanced each other quite well also. A lot of emotions were packed into this one volume manga, truly.
Also the art was amazing! There were times when I just stopped reading a page and just stared at it. I just stared at it in awe.

I really wish this was a longer manga but apparently 7 chapters were enough to tell us everything in an enjoyable way. Because man, I think this manga was great.

I'd say this manga is a good example of the usage of misunderstandings. The misunderstandings in the story and made the whole thing quite fun to read, it wasn't frustrating during any parts. It was as wholesome as it was funny too. So, as a lighthearted read, I totally reccomend it.
Reading it reminded me a lot of Ao no Flag which was pretty nice!

A manga by Ishie Hachi.

This was quite the interesting story! Putting aside the BL elements, the actual story is great! There were a lot of unexplained stuff in there but still, the main focus not being the romance element makes it quite nice. It feels like a fresh breath of air.
But besides the story, the art was pretty cool too. It felt strangely European..? I don't know how to explain but I'd never seen an art style like this in a manga before.

CW: I can't count the things that need content warning in this story at this point (sexual assault, gore ect. ect.) so I'm just gonna ask you to stay away from this one if you're someone who gets easily disturbed. I'm serious. It does have quite a lot of disturbing imagery and moments.

This manga gives me complicated feelings honestly. I don't know how to explain it but with it's story MADK certainly does not feel like your average BL. The world building was pretty good and the story is quite interesting. With the horror elements in there reading it feels really gross in a strangely good way?
I know I said I wouldn't put stuff that feels "wrong" on this list but I had to include this one. Because I don't know how to put it into words but the explicit scenes feel very horrifying and uncomfortable, which suits the story very much since it's about demons.

Also, the art is quite detailed and pretty!

A manga by Nagabe.

I have a strange fascination with anthropomorphic animals in art as everyone seems to have a different way of drawing them, and seeing that Nagabe made a BL manga with animals as characters, I had to check it out.
And honestly this was such a nice read. It wasn't amazing or anything but although it had some drama happening between the main characters it still felt very wholesome and warm. The animalistic features of characters having use and being important to the story is also something I appreciate.

The art is also quite pleasing to look at. I really love Nagabe's art style and the way they merge human and animal features.

A manga by Sumiya Zeniko.

Enjoyable manga, has its funny moments and also its sad moments in there, it's a nice read.
And although the synopsis makes it seem like there will be a lot of explicit scenes in this, there's actually none.

A manga by Fujitobi.

If you've seen the part 1 of my BL stack, you've probably noticed I wasn't very impressed with the mangas I've read from Fujitobi. But after trying this one thanks to a friend's reccomendation my idea of Fujitobi totally changed.
This was quite the fun read. It was a mini emotional roller coaster. I just can't help but wish this was a bit longer so that the story would be just a little slower paced but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

Honestly I don't remember the story of this much since it's been a while since I've read it (+it's just 3 chapters, what do you expect from me...) but I do remember it being touching.

Honestly this was just a fun little comedy BL, I don't have much to comment on. I enjoyed reading it.

It's doesn't have an unexpected story with twists and turns, it's just a basic romance but it was wholesome. The explicit scenes weren't written in a creepy way either, they felt affectionate. I recommend it if you're looking for something simple and short.

I asked myself again and again if I should include this manga here but in the end I decided it was okay to do so. So here we are.
Although this manga is only 7 chapters long, the story had it's interesting moments and the characters were established well. This was a nice read. Very enjoyable.

Also the art style looks very nice. It's refreshing to see a Korean art style in B&W manga.

According to MAL it has some explicit scenes but I don't remember them at all, help.

I love reading this. I love it so much. I'm assuming you can easily guess the premise from the title "A World Where Everything Definitely Becomes BL vs. The Man Who Definitely Doesn't Want To Be in a BL". The whole manga just makes fun of BL tropes which I find very enjoyable.
I reccomend it for sure.

It's a parody manga of the generic BL tropes. I was just giggling like an idiot in the middle of the night as I was reading this.
I reccomend it.

A manga by Mori Moyori.

Before you come for me, I gave this a lower score than most people (I initially gave it a 6, it's now a 7 cuz art... pretty...) because the story just didn't make much sense to me in a lot of parts. I felt like there was a lot left to be explained. It basically was another case of "I wish it wasn't this short so we could have a story that is a bit more detailed." but alas, it's just 6 chapters long.

Although I am not all that pleased with the story I did find it enjoyable to read. And the characters had interesting personalities.

I still reccomend reading this mostly because of the art. Excuse the caps but... PLEASE CHECK THIS MANGA OUT IF YOU CAN!! IT'S SO DAMN PRETTY!!! LIKE, EVERYTHING ABOUT IT LOOKS SO GOOD! ESPECIALLY THE EYES! I WAS SO IN LOVE!!

CW: Disturbing moments

For a one-shot, this is really well written. Every little detail drawn has a meaning and it forces you to think over them and figure out what the story is although all is revealed by the end. A great example of atmospheric thriller / horror. BL elements aren't in the foreground.

It doesn't have many chapters as of writing this so I can't comment much on the story but to me it seems that it will be one of those stories with two characters basically healing one another. It can be good if it's written well. If not, just by the art alone I might give this a high score, it's gorgeous to say the least.

I haven't read the novel for this manhua unfortunately but I'm sure the story is explained better there.
Even though I'm not a huge fan of this work (because the romantic relationships in this one just feel a bit forced to me) I totally appreciate the non-BL side of the story and the art. Although I've seen quite a lot of people complain about how the character designs didn't match the ones in the novel, I find STARember's way of rendering to be really pretty. So I do reccomend checking it out.

Certainly not a manga for everyone. And also it's certainly not romance but a well crafted horror story. Explicit scenes aren't there to give the reader pleasure, instead they are supposed to give pain. The art style and facial expressions getting more detailed in the disturbing parts adds to the charm of the manga.

This feels a bit like a shounen manga turned BL honestly. Which was very new to me. The world building was unexpectedly nice and the story was pretty interesting. There were a lot of moments that really made me sad. It was enjoyable. I wished it was longer.

NOTE: Although this manga isn't tagged as erotica on MAL I remember seeing explicit scenes but it might be just my mind playing tricks on me here.

"What?! A meteor is heading towards Earth and everyone will die?! Whoa? I thought I was just reading a normal BL manga? What is happening?"
Those were my inital thoughts reading this manga. I hadn't read the synopsis on MAL (yes, I like going in blind) and I totally wasn't expecting something like this. And that got my expectations for this manga very very high. But unfortunately the manga itself couldn't meet them.

Although it being basically a story about 10 days until a meteor destroys Earth is quite interesting, the main characters really ruined this story for me. I didn't find them likeable, and their relationship really annoyed me.
It was interesting nonetheless. Check it out if you have time!

A generic mind reading BL, starts off a bit boring and the possessive actions of one of the characters feel not right, but the story picks up on the later chapters and gets a bit better.

Every chapter of this manga is a different story so it's hard to make a general comment on the way the stories go but there were both nice stories in there and some that felt plain weird (bat boys, I'm looking at you)... But it was enjoyable in general.

A good premise and a nice story. Explicit scenes are also generally used in order to tell us the story, the characters and the situations aren't being fetishized. The mental states and thoughs of the characters are written well. Both of the main characters act mature and age appropriate. However, I believe the story could have been handled a bit better, and should have been longer.

At least it has a healthy relationship in it, which is nice, I appreciate that, but... Yeah, that's about it.
