there is no common theme or genre for every entry of this stack, but the majority of them are dramas. some are pretty dark as well, so please make sure to check on that before starting them (i think there is a guro one as well so).

as of now the manga here are pretty random, but i plan to sort them a bit after reading more anthologies. until then i it's easier to have them all in one place

all of them are under 16 chapters, and most are 1 volume long.

some contain guro, so check the description if you don't want to see that.

not all manga here are necessarily disturbing (or at least not as much as others), but are still dark/twisted. at the same time, some are disturbing/twisted, yet not necessarily (that) dark (take Kanojo wa Sore wo Gaman Dekinai, for example).

This was supposed to be a private list, I haven't read most of these myself, I plan to, but then I thought maybe some people are looking for similar stories so here it is.

Composition is one of, if not, the most important aspect for storytelling within a visual medium such as manga and comics. Commonly referred within the world of cinematography as the "Split-Screen" or "Frame within a Frame" these techniques are often used to show division between characters or separate actions or perspectives simultaneously.

Another technique known as "Double Exposure" might also be considered. Similar to the former, these shots typically have a character appear in frame (often mirrors, reflections, or overlays) to symbolize duality of personality or inner conflict. Overlaying images such as "Sayornara Eri" are compatible with the list and are technically sharing both of these technical shots. If there are too many entries I will make and link a dedicated stack.
