Synopsis

Sakura Kousuke is a boy who strives to throw away a past mired in regret. He transfers to a new school for his second year of high school, believing it will give him a chance to come clean.

Unbeknownst to him, however, the appearance of five other "Sakura"s in his class will bring the past to his present, forcing him to come to terms with himself, his old friends, and a girl who, though being Kousuke's complete opposite in terms of personality, also knows him better than anyone else.

6 people sharing the same name, "Sakura", and it being the only thing that makes them similar.
A story of friendship, romance and drama.

It is a manga that tackles on themes that may be relatable, and it's one of the things that makes it (for me), a really good story.

The romance is one of the main topics, and it is kinda slow burn, but it isn't bad.

One downside, is that the story could have been fleshed out a bit more, and with more chapters it would have been even more amazing (An example would be the younger brother introduced towards the ending).

Nevertheless, its still a manga ...

O enredo é sobre 6 pessoas que tem o mesmo nome, Sakura. Ele é intrigante o suficiente, mas algo que ocorre ao longo do mangá e me incomoda um pouco é a reutilização do recurso dos nomes. Boy moves back to his childhood home, meets with his childhood friends again, and falls in love with his best friend.

Sakura Discord's basic plot is pretty paint by numbers, feel good type of stuff. Kids overcoming their problems together and becoming closer friends. But it has so much more heart than other manga of its ilk. I started reading because it looked mildly interesting, prepared to drop it within a couple of chapters should it become too same-y or tripe. But I binged the whole thing in an afternoon, because it absolutely engrossed me start to finish.
