Synopsis

A hitman and a marriage swindler set out on the world's most grueling battle for marriage! Gero is a young man from a clan of hitmen, which has been in existence for hundreds of years. Non-spoiler review: This story has a lot of heart, great characters, adorable moments, and some intense action. It balances all these things very well and you can't help but root for Gero Hikaru who isn't the most refined man at first but seeing how much he wants to grow as a person as well as a suitable husband for some lucky woman is truly endearing. It has some fun twists and even though the story follows a formula, it hasn't gotten boring simply because the characters are so well written. Marriagetoxin is an ongoing manga that's an absolute joy to read and it needs more recognition, please give it a chance!

The art is extremely solid, if not fantastic. The panels are stuffed with details that are easy to miss if you're flying through the material, but they do so much to elevate the work as a whole—the amount of care and attention put into this aspect is actually impressive. Action scenes are crisp, easy to follow, and never boring to look at.

A unfound gem wouldn't be a half bad way to describe MarriageToxin.

MarriageToxin focus’s on two characters a killer you cant help to adore and a adorable goofy femboy and they handle them perfectly. I don't see realistic relationships much in manga but this is definitely a exception as their bond growing and motivation truly did make sense and was enjoyable to watch.

The battle system is fairly creative and enjoyable not bound by many set rules which makes it fun to watch and gives it a nice vibe that makes it feel free.

Naturally this isn't the most serious manga and it really doesn't have to be ...
