| This series has a good pace and I like how we're getting everyone's motivations and back stories, which they only really touched upon in Fate/ Stay Night. |

| Another "quick" episode and yet so awesome; while it wasn't as good as the last one in my opinion it was still great. Its ironic i couldn't find myself feeling too bad for Kayneth ( i never liked his character at all, so no sympathy) but i hated Sola for that scene; Lancer never seems to never get a break if i felt bad for anyone in this episode it would have been him. Also Caster needs to die like right now, him and Zoken simply need to die horrific deaths nuff said. Also i liked how they toned down Saber's amplified honor issue by simply not showing her a lot lol, because while i like her character i completely agree with Kiritsugu on the fact that she was wrong in letting Lancer pass, well in any case it seems like we see Kariya and Rin next week so I'll definitely be looking forward to it. Oh quick question, since next episode seems to include Rin i just wanted to make sure that i was clear on something, is the reason the Tohsaka family gave Sakura away because they didn't want competition for Rin or because they owed the Matou family a favor? or neither? because i remember in the scene in the first episode when Kariya was shocked upon finding out that she was given away, that the mother seemed very cold on the matter as if it didn't concern her anymore. |

| People are hating on Sola because she did the smart thing with Kayneth, a man who she doesn't want to marry (but she's being bargained by her family) and has endangered her life to use her like a tool (mana supply) in his war? Seriously? What was she supposed to do? Let them become a target because he's pig-headed jealous of the hot Irishman with a magical mole? He's not in the best condition right now. Not saying she wasn't extreme and didn't have ulterior reasons (she did), but Kayneth isn't exactly a victim. Tables have been turned on him. That's all. |

| Godly episode again of Fate\Zero. Even though more gore got censored again in this episode, but it didn't let me down at all. Rider is like the best big bro ever, he got great respect for Waver and always caring for him and doesn't let him feel depressed at all, by just looking at his face by the end of the episode where they ride together says how big impact Rider has become to Waver. Bittersweet. Lancer's past got revealed. Of course it's a sad tale, being a Lancer class looks like to be the most suffering one. Bad luck doesn't seem to be all of it. Sola Ui looks to be affected by Lancer's charm skill and makes drastically actions to become closer to Lancer. I actually felt bad for Kayneth in this episode. He gets almost everything taken away from him and is of course feels sad and depressed knowing he can no longer fight in this war cause of one single bullet he didn't consider could do so much damage to his Mage circuits in his body. Losing his Command Spells to Sola Ui who only has interest in Lancer is also a big burden to him. Especially being his wife... in other word, she is cheating on him. Kirei getting annoyed at Tokiomi for being boring like Arcer\Gilgamesh told him earlier. It doesn't look like Kirei likes to just sit and wait like Tokiomi does, I also find it boring. He is pretty much keeping one the best Servants in his pocket and does nothing and like wasting time by just sitting and waiting. I hope Kariya beats the crap out of him if they were to meet each other fighting. Overall another great episode which is building up to the 3rd big fight. (Technically 4th, but it was just a trick anyway by Kirei and Tokiomi.) Rin and Kariya looks like to get a lot of screen time next episode, hopefully we'll also get to see more of this mysterious Berserker. Zero0neFive said: I swear these episodes are getting shorter. | Good episode,Rider be my bro! Lancer past was reveled,sad past and been betrayed by his lord,he just want a good lord and he will be at the side of Kayneth to the end,also Sola Ui she is a bitch...... Rider being awesome like always he being a good buddy for Weaver and always cheering him up,to bad that they censor Caster lair but was predictable,they find out assassin is alive so things will get interesting. Next episode we get some Rin yay! Btw we need more Gilga. |

| Another amazing episode once again. This show is becoming my favorite show. I just earned more respect for Rider. I can't wait till next episode, we get RIN!! my only problem is the lack of Gilgamesh, but I'm guessing he'll play more of an important role in the 2nd half. |

Yes, she was given away to the Matou's to avoid competitions, since both Sakura and Rin are strong potential mages. Her mother is the "obeying type" she can't do anything to stop Tokiomi's decision. Nobody said that she doesn't care or does not feel anything. |

| First of all: HOLY FUCKING SHIT TOHSAKA RIN NEXT EPISODE!!!! Anyway, yeah, this was a great episode. I loved how Lancer's past was done, it was amazingly effective despite it's brevity and that music is godly. Also, the scene where Waver and Rider found Caster's hideout was really well done as well. If that was censorship, it was very well done by seeing the shock and horror on Waver's face. It's gonna suck though, when we have to wait a season or so for the second half. |

| I felt really sorry for Kayneth. He was one of the genius magician in highest position, but now he cannot even use magic at all. At the same time, this is what I like about Urobuchi's writing style. He never wastes any character. All character is portrayed in there maximum Depth. We can sympathise Kayneth. When Kayneth dreams Lancer's past, instead of feeling said for his past, he felt doubt and anxiety due to the fact that Lancer's purpose is not about obtaining holy grail. Lancer's wish is already fulfilled as what he wanted is proper relationship of master and loyal knight. At the same time, Kayneth already has bad feeling about Solaui's action. When his finger is broken, we can really understand his despair... so badly. |

| Kayneth doesn't have much luck does he first his item gets stolen by one of his students then his hotel is blown up and now he lost his magic. And he is being tortured by his fiance. Sola might have been harsh on him her method was probably one of the only ways to get the seal, Kayneth simply isn't in a state any more to be a master. In his current state he won't last long. I have to be honest in the fact that i don't know what Sola's true intensions are but if she wants a change at the Holy Grail she made the right decision. It's a shame Rider didn't encounter Caster he would probably have killed him if he did. Now that Assassin has for those who didn't know yet it won't be long before there is a fight near the church. |
