| rewatching this for the first time after a couple years because i've forgotten certain things and wow, this was even better than i remember. exposition-heavy episode already shows how intricately crafted the lore of fate is and i got actual chills during the summoning. excited for the rest of this despite having already seen it, that's how you know it's amazing. |

| This episode explains all of my questions from Fate/ Stay Nate 2006. I would talk about them but it will kinda spoil what happens to those who didn't watch it yet. Episode overall was a yap session on the world building of the story, but it was needed. We got some cool characters and I'm excited too see them in combat. Not a big fan of the animation style tho, but I guess I will get used to it. |

| @Alkimia Yea man, this is a perfect place to start. Fate Zero is an incredible ride. It can be very brutal at times, like REALLY brutal. Kirei is one of my favorite ever characters, Kiritsugu is the perfect counter- I recommend watching the English version dub- although either actually is just fine. I would recommend watching the 2006 anime AFTER this, it is nowhere near as brutal as this, but it's a nice watch. You have the lovely sexy Medusa Rider, and I actually prefer Saber in that version. |

| The scene of sakura on that bug room was really grotesque and the entire talk of matou families magic crest being put inside the body via those gross bug once again remind me that I'm watching a series made by uro-butcher sensei thanks to these type of dark theme（ ´_ゝ`） and judging by how so many male characters literally have void or lifeless eyes on them and getting ready for a magical battle royal, you just know its gonna get worse in great way lol（ ´Д｀） The entire servant summoning sequence was a pure cinematic experience, the fact this anime was aired more than over a decade ago with this insane clear animation quality is just genuinely incredible. The background soundtrack was also superb( ﾟヮﾟ) The opening song by Lisa in the end was also great. Fate + Lisa + Ufotable + yuki kajiura ost is such a deadly combo, no wonder this franchise is colossal in japanese anime media(^_^) |
