| some people really waited 10 years for another season of Initial D to come out and I have the previlige to watch this whenever I want damn that's some motivation good stuff I don't know if they improved the visual quality but I'm gonna say it looks new but not that good at least the good parts are well animated and we all know that's the cars looks dope as hell hoping there's a lot of shit going down this season starting with the impostors leading up to that stunning performance that Takumi did and of course the music can't forget that in Initial D gas is what Takumi best steps on. |
| holy shit, this has been my favorite first episode from the entire series since the first stage so far. OP slapped as well. will fujiwara x mika actually succeed? will a relationship in this show for ONCE not fail?? i'll be very surprised if it succeeds. the animation looked absolutely fire and the eurobeat didn't disappoint once again. another studio change so another art style change but i don't mind too much this time. apart from ryosuke, everyone else looks fairly good. ryosuke doesn't look bad, just way too different. anyways, solid start. 9/10 so far, i'm expecting great things from this stage. |

| good first episode, the graphics are clean, the character designs are beautiful, the cars have more of a speed aspect, it was good. Then these two impostors appeared to ruin and take advantage of their fame, thankfully they didn't go very far. getting slapped suddenly like that is crazy, poor Takumi. |

| A new girl shows up, but history tells me this will end bad. Overall I do like the start to the 5th season. Artwork is brighter and the new cgi sections look great. |
| What a bunch of ripp-offs. I didn't expect a ripp-off of Project D in here tho. It was so awesome what Takumi showed those guys when he drifted around the corner. And how Almost every character I knew came there to teach them a lesson. Especially Keisuke who wanted to beat them but he couldn't. Overall the new Visuals and looks look even better than before and the new intro is great too! |
| Every new season is being surprised by how much different some character will look like. The impostors reminded me of Yakuza 2. |
