| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- I decided to pick this series. One reason is that I have high appreciation of Maria! Great little kid! Now that I learned of her past and that her friend Lina passed away T_T I was very sad from that point up until the resolve of the whole stage scene, which BTW Kyoko did great! Great expressions! Great emotions! Go Kyoko and become the dream star! Yes, skip beat sure gets me out of stress of studies! A pic of why I like Maria! After subs thoughts Well I completely screwed on the RAW but not entirely, however I always edit them again. So the impact was worse than I though. Since it was a international star on top of being a great friend of Maria, Lina was close to Maria's family as well. Certainly the blame can never be put on Maria although the adults did try. This was no one's fault but this world's imperfect peace which may be that of cruelty such as losing someone due to a place crash. Like previous I said it was indeed brilliant of Kyoko to have reversed those lines but more so that the girl Angel played along. Seems that shows some competition presence. What I hate is the fact that during the funeral the adults put pressure on Maria in very very negative ways. That in itself is despicable. You do not blame someone's death during a funeral nor in Church even. I would think that was the worst for Maria apart from other incidents after. Once again congratulations to Kyoko on being admitted into acting class. ^_^ |

| I liked how Kyoko switched the lines and changed the entire scene. Not only was it very clever, but it was also exactly what Maria needed to finally understand her father. Being told that your father loves you isn't the same as understanding for yourself that he does, in fact, love you. |

| Man Kyoko is gonna be a really great actress she is like Ren when it comes to acting It was awesome how she showed her acting skill (she is smart) and helped Maria at the same time Really cant wait till the next episode |

| It didnt have the right impact when Kyoko said "The answer is out" but it was a nice episode. I like how Kyoko is the only one who can truly understand Maria, not even Ren :3 |

Annoying brats always have the highest difficulty to understand them and so Kyoko in being able to understand Maria makes me think of her character as awesome and comprehensible of others. Maria indeed is very hard to understand not only her character but her suffering of the funeral. that she had to go through as the pic above I posted suggests. |

| Wow Kyoko did a great job O_O although I was expecting it to a point because she has natural talent =D! Great episode, they kind of already let on to Maria's past but to see it in animation is better wonder what the next episode holds O_O |

| ah, this eppie was truly amazing! despite I'd read the manga and knew what's gonna happen.. I just couldn't help but started crying together with Maria-chan.. Kyoko and her seiyuu's acting skills were brilliant as always!!! can't wait for Bou to appear in the next episode - must be really hilarious ^^ |

| Though some things were a little overexaggerated, this actually did capture the essence of what a good actor should be able to do: display different intent with a different tone or character and make you're scene partner react naturally. Kudos to getting that really right! |

| I just rewatched this episode. It's one of my favourite in the series cause I have a similar situation with my Dad. Brings up alot of emotions for me when I watch it. Kyoko is awesome! Loved her acting. |

| Eh, I didn't buy into it. I don't think the directing of this series is all that solid, that and the music doesn't really accentuate the emotions that should be conveyed all that well. Because of that, I think the message the episode had didn't have as much impact as it should have had. |

| Every time Kyouko acts, it's like a switch is flipped and another personality emerges O__O She's definitely suited to villain roles with all that killing intent aura she exudes. I don't understand...the company president was right there. How were the three idiot girls in class allowed to act that way? The deal about free classes was between the president and Kyouko, they're not supposed to be involved in it O__o |

| I walked into this anime expecting a singing idol-type anime. We're really doing acting then? This is an acting anime? Honest to goodness? I'm gonna hold it to this show, because this is a true rarity. I can literally count the number of acting/theatrical anime I've seen on one hand. So far, consider me impressed. I'm really loving the wordplay and bits of psychological manipulation in between the lines. I'm also loving the multiple levels of thought here, where the writer is writing characters writing themselves into roles. Real life writing the script, eh... |
