The Animation Film Award (アニメーション映画賞) is an award given to the best animated feature film at the Mainichi Film Awards. The award was established to reward large scale cinematic animation, enabling the Oofuji Noburou Award to focus on shorter pieces. This award was first presented in 1989 for Kiki's Delivery Service by Hayao Miyazaki. These are the family based films and films can be watched together with your family. Who said your parents and sibling can't watch anime? Of course, they can too. As long it's decent XD Jokes aside, here is my collection of animes films that your family might enjoy too. ┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈┈ This list contains all movies that aren't related with any anime series. More anime to breathe a little fresh air. Anime specializing in various supernatural and paranormal tropes, usually with mystery and investigation underlying. This stack places weight on the more spiritually focussed paranormal anime. Here we will see modern & magic world come together in a practical manner that is very tangible, a feeling of realism, as if this is how one would actually do magic, herbalism, old medicine. Shout! Factory, LLC, trading as Shout! Studios (formerly known as Shout! Factory) is an American home video and music distributor founded in 2002 as Retropolis Entertainment. Its video releases, issued in DVD or Blu-ray format, include previously released feature films, classic and contemporary television series, animation, live music, and comedy specials. Considered a boutique Blu-ray label, Shout! Studios, in addition to its mainline home video releases, also releases films under the sublabels Scream Factory (for horror film releases), Shout! Select, and Shout! Kids. Part 1: https://myanimelist.net/stacks/37228 These ones I don't know much about and not necessarily have an interest in watching, but are recommended. First List: https://myanimelist.net/stacks/32509 Japanese, Chinese and South Korean feature films shown at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival as part of the Feature Films in Competition Official Selection. I adore the monstrous in all forms, so it kinda breaks my heart when magical creatures are written as irredeemable. These shows contain primary characters who are nonhuman! Or/as well as have themes where the supernatural is benevolent, neutral, or just has a rightful place in the worlds' balance. Movies are at the very bottom :) Most anime use professional voice actors in the cast. These are anime that use non-professional voice actors as the main characters. Non-professional voice actors include actors who mostly act in film/tv/stage or actual children playing child characters. Anime with actors, who later go on to become VAs, making their debuts won’t be included. |
