Shoujo Ramune

This had to be the most uncomfortable I've ever felt watching a hentai. And I've seen stuff in what were supposed to be far more extreme genres over the years.

I can't honestly even joke about it. Too grounded in reality to even make fun of it.

The premise is literally about portraying a real-world middle age man grooming, exploiting and sexually abusing real-world prepubescent girls.
Let me make this clear: not "adults stylized as kids", not "400 years old magical girls/dragons/vampires assuming a loli appearance", not "lustful teens with a small body frame" either.
You can't even call these loli, because they are underage even by ... the definition of the term (12-13). We are talking about some bona fide nine-ten years old girls.
This is straight up child pornography in an animated format.

The series goes on involving the old creep and these girls into full sexual intercourse, anal, fellatio and what else. And it should be stressed that these are not even fully consensual relationships either.
Each setup can be summarized as "Girl asks for a favor, child rapist exploits her naivety to push her into sexual intercourse ignoring her initial protests, she grows more or less into accepting or even enjoying the sexual act in the middle of it".

If the setup wasn't more than distasteful enough on its own right, the genuinely creepy side of the entire production is that the serial child abuser at the center of these events is not even framed as the slimy monster he is, someone in the process of paving his way to prison or hopefully to some sort of hell; instead he's genuinely portrayed as a someone "slightly perverted" but overall considerate, caring and somewhat fatherly toward the girls.
All the girls despise some initial protest and a late full recognition that he's a "pervert" (because appropriately calling him a child rapist didn't sound nice enough, I guess) tend to part ways with him in extremely friendly terms, too. Occasionally even growing more fond of him in the process.

I realize that a lot of people will keep making the same disgusting self-indulgent jokes to justify it, hand-wave it nonchalantly with some tired "FBI, open up" meme or making lame excuses about how "they are drawing and not real kids anyway".

I don't really feel any of that changes how this production feels overall: a straight-up endorsement of grooming and sexually exploiting children.
It honestly made me feel as if I was witnessing genuine child porn and I still feel nauseous for it.

Every genre has its Citizen Kane, whether in anime or hentai. Most would point to the Loli genre with the 1984 six-part OVA series Lolita Anime as its Citizen Kane. While it holds significance with its place in history, it has not aged well with the modern era other than being a time capsule. If there is one OVA that I think truly deserves to be crowned that accolade, Shoujo Ramune would be the one to fulfill that position, no questions asked.

When talking about this hentai, you will get a lot of polarizing reactions. This is hentai that is about as niche as you’re ever ... going to find. Lolicon is a genre that doesn’t have it as its main trope. Usually, you will have a loli girl in hentai that isn’t the centerpiece of it and only as a side thing for people who are into it. Similar to futanari, although futanari is more generally accepted than lolicon. It would be a no-brainer for me to say that if lolicon is not in your bag, this is definitely not for you. However, if you are, this is the best you will get out of the genre.

Many people find Shoujo Ramune polarizing because the story is very slice of life. In fact, the setting almost looks like it’s set in the town from the anime Non Non Biyori. You have three little girls visiting the candy shop of a man who, for all intents and purposes, grooms them into sexual escapades. This isn’t like a loli situation involving some goofy scenarios that aren’t based on real ones. And because of that, this situation might turn off your typical normie who thinks this stuff is sickening. You’re in for a real treat if you can get over it.

What makes Shoujo Ramune amazing right from the get-go is its production values. The animation is extremely good in all of the sex scenes. They don’t look cheaply thrown together or rigid like many typical hentai studios usually do to cut corners in their animation department. All girls look super adorable, and their proportions look appropriate to their size. The voice actresses also give them cute personalities both in the sex scenes and outside of them. They pull off the archetypical loli voices quite well, and not to the point where they get annoying like some tend to be.

The quality of the sex scenes themselves is varied and isn’t copied and pasted into each episode. One involves two girls having a yuri-tastic sex scene; it’s not often you see a loli yuri scene in hentai, and boy is it one you cannot miss if those two things are your jam. My favorites are personally the ones involving Komako because of the actress’s sexy voice she gives her and how Komako interacts with our male protagonist’s chin-chin. Chie and Tenko definitely have their great moments, particularly one involving Chie and a classroom desk chair. The only downside is that the episodes are less than 20 minutes long. While the sex scenes aren’t short, they could have at least thrown in one more in each episode to spice things up a bit.

While the story isn’t something to write home about, they provide a good template for our girls to have their own side stories. It’s always a plus to have context for hentai scenes to make them more enjoyable. One involving Komako wanting to make love to Chie and giving our main protagonist a reward for helping her achieve it was pretty nice. Another is Tenko wishing to be famous and the candy man telling her to become an idol as an excuse to make her do very suggestive things to him. You could make the case that this is a subtle commentary on the idol industry, but you can clearly tell the writers couldn’t care less to explore further.

As mentioned before, Shoujo Ramune isn’t going to be for everyone. If you can’t get over lolicon or the culture surrounding it, this review will not likely sway you one way or another. It’s one of those situations where no one can’t argue one way or another if you are offended by something like Shoujo Ramune. For me and others who can get down with some lolis when we’re in that mood, this is something that shouldn’t be passed over.

I always wondered why and how these things are made, but maybe I shouldn’t question it.

Now before you go screaming “Oh this a Hentai, of course, there is not Plot” but this did have some plot into it. Each girl has their own side story into it, I’ll explain more in a little while, but Each EP has us going trough 2 Girls side story with the occasional sex scene (of course), but in all honesty, the story dives deep with the characters (No pun intended) that at some point, I thought I was watching a regular Anime

Art 10/10
The Art is more modern than ... I thought it will be, but that probably just because I’ve been watching hentai from before 2010, but, for some weird reason, the eyes remind me of Love Live! School Idol Project, which got me mixed up at some point, but apart from that, the art is awesome, sure it’s censored, but it’s still great, it’s drawn really well and the animation was also something well done, the movements and way he ‘did’ it’s something to say about his abilities, and don’t even get me started on sound.

Sound 10/10
Now here comes the sound, the BGM (Background Music) impacted this in a way that it just isn’t moaning and ‘swishy’ sounds, it contains Music which makes it less boring. Now for when ‘sex’ is happening, the sound is ridiculously good. One time they were in a Bench, and when they were ‘moving’ you can actually hear the benches wood being hit, I was amazed at that point, also of other sounds were also included with the scene, apart from the moaning of course.

Now like I said before, this does have its own side story to each girl, with that said, One of them was trying to be popular, so Kiyoshi (Main male) suggested her in becoming an Idol, another one loved another girl, in wish they both ‘Studyed’ how to make her feel good, while the other one, was just mostly neutral, being cute and happy most of the time. All of them have their own stories to tell during the series.

This was something that can be enjoyed by Lolicons such as my self. This is something that offers enough story mixed in with the sex scenes that we get, which is something that isn’t done very often, but also it has no resistance when done this, I wished they would offer more resistance, but other than that, this is a well-made series.

Overall, I think some parts of it were not expected in the series, but that’s just me… The way the plot was told really surprised me and how the characters actually build up the main male is another thing. This might not be for people who like their girls to be big in every way, but this is more for people who like things a bit more tiny than usual if you what I mean.

There are few things that you really regret watching. But this is beyond that. It has already been more than two years since I've watched this and I'm still ashamed to not have switched off at the first second. Especially because I forced myself to go through with it. I found this so disgusting and disturbing when I first started it, but as you force yourself through this, your psychological barrier goes lower and lower.

All this time afterwards I can at least say that, although my intrusive side always tells me otherwise, I am not a paedophile. I am still ashamed to even have this ... on my list, let alone in my head. I really wish that I had never watched it, also since it was one of those things you only watch because they're infamous. Truly an alltime low...

Honestly, this was amazing.

Yes I know, this work may not be for everyone, different to other explicit works involving loli content, Shoujo Ramune is more realistic than the rest, the very much realistic setting and character acting makes a lot of people weirded out due to the realism.

However, for those who have no problem with this sort of issue, this piece of work is fantastic, and the characters are even better.

I loved the storytelling, and the smooth switches between the "slice of life" scenes and the actual hentai scenes, the cute and small girls with different personalities, all of it was lovely.

And dont even get ... me started on the nice sounds and voice acting during the sex scenes, kudos to the voice actors for nailing in the moment with their high pitched voices.

All in all, if you like loli content, you surely must have heard about this piece of work already due to its popularity, but if you have not, I recommend watching this.

As for the last note, the character I loved the most was Komako, her more experienced and lewd nature during the sex scenes was truly erotic and made me love her even more.

This is my first formal review as I normally just write my review-esque analysis in the comment section - I clarify this on my profile. I did not think my regular style would be enjoyable to write up so I gave this overall review a chance. None of the reviews on MAL really gave any effort, so I figured why not try something difficult and review a Hentai. I also welcome feedback on all my writings so don't be shy! There is only minor detail spoilers and bare in mind this review should read as a someone who just joined the Hentai genre with only ... some prior knowledge.

Some things to note: we have no idea how old these lolis are, we don’t have any background on Kiyoshi Tachikawa (other than the synopsis of the anime), the initial art concepts of the shop are lacking all detail (looks like brushed paint), and the first sexually physical encounter with Kiyoshi is without protest or suspicion from Chie Sayama. So, this begs the question, have they already had other sexual encounters? If so then why wouldn’t this have been mentioned as it would have at least given some fluidity to this atrocity of a story? The naivety of characters is defined by their ages and that alone - yet this can only go so far with respect to the manipulation that Kiyoshi has over them as well as the dialog.

I suppose I should first tackle the fundamentals of this anime before getting into the specifics of my critiques; If the category is Hentai, and the goal is to maximize the sexual lust of your audience, then wouldn’t the inclusion of all aspects related to the story be of value? Hentai as defined by encyclopedia, “a subgenre of the Japanese genres of manga and anime, characterized by overtly sexualized characters and sexually explicit images and plots.”; Wikipedia puts it simply as “outside of Japan, Hentai is anime and manga pornography. In the Japanese language, however, ‘hentai’ is not a genre of media but any type of perverse or bizarre sexual desire or act”. This is obvious to anyone familiar with Anime and Manga, though I wonder to what extent is having a story at all if one tries to argue that its only purpose is for arousal/masturbation? This cavate is something to take seriously with regards to the question of what this anime really is and how they are planning to impact the audience.

Already one should be thinking to themselves “why am I really watching this and can an anime categorized as Hentai be taken seriously?”. Of course, the majority of opinions would disregard any type thoughts on the matter as waste time or irrelevant given the value of this production with respect to many others. There are a number of reasons why one might watch Shoujo Ramune, such as: curiosity, boredom, loli lust, meme humor, and another “tally on the list” to name a few. If we’re honest, the majority came for the lewding of lolis as well as second hand interests – of course I would put myself in the same boat along with my curiosity.

Parallel to those reasons, each and every review one can read on MAL or watch on YouTube is drenched in this guilty-dismissal of possible thought-crime (discussion boards are more optimal) – those who try to pick other routes have this innate condemnation or weak satirical conjectures regarding their side. Feeling the need to prime one’s position almost in an apologetic or ethical way, is a clear indication that they surmise they have done something wrong or lack all confidence in discussing the matter. One should only be worried if they associate the anime characters as real humans, as well, reach the same emotional status from an imaginative rendition of our own species. With today's culture in finding offence to everything and anything, it’s understandable that people are wary of what they say or how someone will perceive them – on the other hand, the legality of this is completely unclear no matter the opinion.

To expand, having the luxury to travel and gain relevant information on others perspectives (or you can simply research online) – allows one to broaden their mind and understand the extent of sane art. Many would argue that Shoujo Ramune, in particular, is apart of the most controversial art category that exists – though this is a false dichotomy. Many forget that paintings, photos, and various other various forms of art of the same magnitude exist and no one has an issue with that. Of course, that isn’t saying two negatives make a positive or that all art is equivalent, but the majority are not going travel to a museum like the Louvre or the Sistine Chapel and disregard that art as something that can jail them. Think of how ridiculous it is to suggest that someone who looked at something imaginary is a felon? The very notion of it is Orwellian in nature and extending the law beyond real human interactions/situations is scary. Controversial conversations are a fundamental tool for our species to evaluate and grow from – whether its Balthus or Mary Jane studios there’s always something to be gained from dissecting the material. Extending even further would be movies/TV shows with real humans and the extent of what’s acceptable – though that is unnecessary and distracting from breaking down some key elements of what makes this [s]anime[/s] Hentai tick.

While on the topic of controversy, the story was abysmal when you consider everything that’s missing: Character personalities are non-existent, each loli repeats nearly the same dialog, only a few scenes with unique intercourse, absence of teasing/playfulness, and the lack of script for Kiyoshi. Playing devil’s advocate, one could argue a few things – (1) that since the majority of the show is ~porn, tailoring to loli fanbase was the first priority, (2) compared to conventional pornography the ideas of each character are enough for the imagination fill in the rest, and (3) this was just for fun and not to be critical about.

First, the intentions of the producers were to create the most lewdacris/dream worthy condition for someone in Kiyoshi’s situation. However, they didn’t want the path to turn darker than it already was and so they kept everyone happy by the end of intimate exchanges. It is also clear that they valued leading characters into scenes with something of an excuse – this is seen almost every time as a matter of fact. If they didn’t value story at all they could have just jumped right into them having sex, but they decided to actually add conversations and events. The reason for this is simple, it immerses you with the characters more and gives rise to events via the manipulation that Kiyoshi has on these lolis; the predatory like instances of using candy, yogurt, stardom, or even love as enticement rather than brute force showcases this.

Second, another part of storytelling is the tone and atmosphere of the scenes. We don’t see Kiyoshi aggressively pin or hit any of the lolis, nor do we ever hear him use aggressive/abusive language. This lets the audience relax even more rather than thoughts of the more sinister or thought provoking events taking place. To say nothing was thought of is a mistake, but to not be able to identify missed opportunities is an even bigger one. This is evident in the fact that they went as far as to break Tenka Adachi’s hymen in episode 2 - timestamp 5:45, where blood was coming out of her vagina. They played with more mature dialog even though these lolis are extremely oblivious to what’s acceptable adult behavior.

Thirdly, under-utilization of the loli’s innocents was not only a disservice to everyone, but to not discuss the matter at all would be disappointing in of itself. What makes the ideas here so unsatisfactory is the lack of dynamic emotions and discussion. Kiyoshi is raping these lolis and so why wouldn’t they have included a wide range of emotions from all characters, as well as, a variety of more interesting situations? For instance, there wasn’t any crying during the scenes with pain and distress; There wasn’t any attempts to stop Kiyoshi by pushing, hitting, kicking – nor was there any one who openly said they liked what he was doing (aside from the last episode with Tenka’s thoughts). The picture painted for the viewer shows the lack of commitment and direction that the creators were striving for – if the goal was just to do enough work to make money while trying to keep loli fans happy, then they completely failed. The fun aspects of getting to see a multitude of sexual positions with three different lolis is as basic of an imagination as you can get.

They even brought up some twisted realism about the possibility of getting pregnant or “getting caught” – of course these adult sentences are unsuitable and prove that the lines given to the lolis are completely inappropriate. There are many contradictory situations where they seem to have knowledge of the sexual conduct that is occurring, to being the naïve loli that is being taken advantage of. They could have contrasted the characters better by having Chie be the oblivious one who is indifferent with the intercourse, Tenka who loves the intimacy, and Komako who despises Kiyoshi for raping her. That is no more work than what they have done and would have given some value to this Hentai. Though, I will have to give credit for the animation as it looked pretty fluid with many camera angles. The FOV was particularly decent in contrasting the positions of the characters with respect to motion, definitely need to create more isometric views for me to be impressed. They did not even peruse Kiyoshi being chie’s dad role play anymore after episode 2 (fragments of conversation appeared but nothing worthy of a fetish). Also, I don’t understand why they blur out the private parts when they have come this far… but I suppose if anything it does lessen my immersion, thus dampen a bit of arousal (but not much). They should take some notes from Yosuga No Sora.

Finally, though Shoujo Ramune is my first introduction to Hentai – and I was initially excited to watch this for the lolis – the lack of ambition, cohesion and the sadly missed opportunities only serves as my comparator for the next Hentai.

(2) If you are an old guy you can't help but to like this, I know it... you can't hide it. After all, we have an old man here have his way with lolis... oh... now think about it...

(3) If you are one those which just come for hentais for the sex scenes: "It's rape? I don't care". "It's NTR? I don't care", ... "It's Vanilla? I don't care", "It's tentacles? I don't care", "It's whatever it is? I don't care". I mean, as long as it has sex scenes that appeals you so you're ok with it, so you may like this... after all, this is JUST a hentai.

(4) Now, if you're one of those who can't stand old man having sex with those awesome girls, so don't come close to this. We have many hentais out there with old man fucking gorgeous girls... when I say old man it's all kind of them: fat, thin, ugly, commons, man that have the age to be your (grand)father and etc. Now, not only you'll have to endure old man with gorgeous girls but now we have to endure -or not, just drop it already- them with Lolis. Yeah. I have watched many hentais... and maybe we have one or another an old man with loli? but sincerely, I can't remember.

(1), (2) and (3) above are easy to please with this kind of hentai.. so no news this hentai is being soo soooo "good". Well, after all 7.55 (currently score, 481 users) for a hentai is awesome. To be sincere, I can't remember seeing a so high score among all the hentais I've watched.

-Story? None. Old man having his way with one of the lolis.
-Character: 3 lolis and an old man. 1 have 85% of screen time, another (solo play) have 10%, and the other(no sex scenes) 5%
-The art is so-so, the animation is just OK for a 2016 hentai.
-Sound: nothing noticeable, I mean, nothing special.

What in the fuck. That’s all I could think as the horny haze that had enveloped my mind began to clear. I was in utter disgust at myself and a deep shameful guilt settled within my very essence, this felt completely wrong. It took me a good 10 minutes to collect the pieces of my broken mind and haphazardly put them back together, in a state barely fit to keep my body going through the motions of the day. I wasn’t until a week had passed that I could laugh off the experience of watching Shoujo Ramune yet that deep seated guilt would always be ... there at the peripherals of my consciousness. It had broken me unlike anything else.

Story - 7

Shoujo Ramune is a cautionary tale exploring the all too common scenario of adults taking advantage of the inherent trust children place in them to gain sexual favors. While we may all laugh off certain types such as those demonstrated in Boku no Pico or Muchi Muchi Kyousei because “they’re just hentai”, Shoujo Ramune truly captures the reality of such encounters reflected in the real-world which leaves viewers with this daunting unveiling of reality which is hard to imagine especially if you place yourself or those around you in those kind of circumstances. Shoujo Ramune cuts out the shits and giggles of a hentai and you don’t treat this as a laughable bit of fap material, it ends up sticking with you and making you contemplate the real world consequences of such actions.

This type of exploitative behavior is demonstrated by our male lead Oi-chan who runs a shop frequented by our three girls. Over the course of these four episodes we see Oi-chan take advantage of each girls vulnerable states to coerce them into having sex by bending their logic or using their words against them into tricking them into thinking this is what they want. Each episode builds upon each girl’s needs and Oi-chan looking to solve that by suggesting sexual activities which in turn creates a bubble of isolation for each girl where they have no one to turn to but Oi-chan creating a cycle of dependency fostering unhealthy relationships where they can only turn to Oi-chan. While the story isn’t the most inspired, what sells it so well are the characters and their relationships which I will go into more detail later on.

Art and Animation - 7

There isn’t much to say for Shoujo Ramune, it does a serviceable job visually and never put up something offensive enough to warrant a lower score. Backgrounds were vibrant and interesting, choosing a variety of backdrops to every scene from the show which kept me engaged. The character design for the girls was extremely moe, with each girl having their own visual flairs that kept them distinct from one another and there were usually certain visual gags that kept each scene leaving an impression on me. While the art started off strong, I noticed a shift in style towards the latter half of the series that was still tolerable however I found myself more attracted to the style of the earlier episodes where the character felt much more defined and detailed. Other than the artwork, the animations weren’t overly recycled and they kept it fresh with different motions and camera angles which kept skipping through a section much less frequent so overall a good job by the studio Mary Jane.

Characters - 9

For me, out of everything Shoujo Ramune had to offer, it was the characters that elevated this show. If you had described what happens in the show and shown me some clips of the hentai, I would’ve thought it was an average hentai that would ultimately be a forgettable hour and 20 minutes of my life which I would quickly move on from. All the depth and the underlying message would be completely lost on me so when I actually sat down to watch it I was blown away by what was offered to me - a haunting reality check on the sexual exploitation of children. Personally, news stories don’t tend to affect me, even those recounting children being raped and exploited by close family members or members of the church. Yet Shoujo Ramune was able to get me to face those horrific acts much more seriously than anything else due to it’s characters.

So what’s so great about the characters in Shoujo Ramune? They reflect reality and they make us feel that.

I’ve watched my fair share of fucked hentai yet the stakes never truly mattered to me. Sure she’s getting literally raped to death or her mentality is getting torn down bit by bit until nothing of her identity is left, however it never felt quite as real as this. Three loveable girls make up the cast of Shoujo Ramune, from the outgoing Chie to the reserved Komako and the bubbly budding idol Tenka, we are greeted with a variety of characters for our main baddy Oi-chan to fuck around with.

Each girl has a special relationship with Oi-chan which he abuses in order to maneuver each girl into situations for him to exploit, often using their desires to achieve this goal. With Chie, he is simply using the fact that he is a family friend (turned stepdad later on) to make her do seemingly innocent things such as “eating some yoghurt(off his dick)” or helping her cool off Baka na Imouto style. Chie then begins to normalize these sort of sexual behaviors which Oi-chan uses further down the line to engage with her again.

On the other hand, Komako is more sexually aware however she is still as innocent as the other girls which allows Oi-chan to exploit her lack of knowledge as an excuse to “teach” her how to pleasure her crush Chie. By dangling her desires in front of her, Oi-chan gets another girl to fall into this normalization of sex with him while having her deepen her dependance on him as he had done with Chie.

Similarly to Komako, Tenka is exploited by her limited knowledge of being an idol. Oi-chan once again exploits this gap in knowledge to trick her into doing sexual favors, chalking it all up to experience that she will apparently need to grow as an idol. She begins to depend on him and seke him out sexually thus exhibiting the third instance of this trap being utiliized.

This in and of itself is quite creepy but nothing we haven’t seen before, however Oi-chan’s character changes everything because he embodies the essence of those real life child predators. Firstly, we see how calm he is about the whole thing, he’s done this before and for him there is nothing morally reprehensible in getting his rock off to the children around him. He gives off a creepy energy through this calmness where he never sees the immorality of his actions. Secondly, this cycle represents the patterns of real life child predators who do go after multiple children in a set in stone fashion by exploiting these weaknesses. However the crème de la crème which completes this perfect predator profile is his actions outside of the fucking, he goes and treats them like his beloved children. Most prominently, we see this with Tenka when he goes to support her idol activities and this was what drives Shoujo Ramune over the edge, where it became way too real. He wasn’t just close to them when they were alone, he kept up this intimate relationship thoroughly. Each episode we see each girl fall deeper and deeper into his arms, not just because of the sex but more importantly because he supported them outside of the sex which cemented him as sort of a father figure to them which turned my stomache.

As much as I loved how much Shoujo Ramune was able to capture this horrifying reality into a different medium and I praise it’s brilliance in bringing out the creepy in the mundane, I just did not have a good time with it on a personal level. Ah yes. my first ever hentai review.
I'm going to write this review from 2 perspectives.
1. An active hentai watcher and horny male
2. Someone who felt repulsed by an old man having sex with 10 year olds.

First as an active hentai watcher.
Let's talk about the story. Sad we can't though, there's not one.
It's just 3 girls getting fcked by an old man and then two of them fcking each other soon after.
Art: the art was actually quite nice compared to the art from other hentai I've watched. But all that art was chewed on and spit into a lava pit.
Sound: Eh not too special, the ... moaning was decent.
Characters: Like I said, three bland innocent lolis and a perverted old man, nothing special.
Enjoyment: Hmmm, personally I'm not a fan of lolis so I didn't enjoy It much, but it wasn't too bad.
Overall a 4/10

Now, as a person with common sense,
I have to admit, the art and sound were nice but that's basically it. This shit of a hentai is honestly just boku no pico all over again. The only difference is that the three girls are about 10 years old and instead of ice cream it was yogurt.
What we have here ladies and gentlemen is childporn but animated. The fact that so many rated it a 10 is quite dissapointing.

No matter how controversial a piece is received, it would still be considered art. This is the case with Shoujo Ramune.

Shoujo Ramune opens a window to the life of a child rapist. The man named Kiyoshi is seen using any tactics necessary in order to emotionally manipulate the three unassuming girls into having sex with him. Kiyoshi even goes as far as to convince Komako into having intercourse with Chie; again, using this as ... an excuse to give her "training". Kiyoshi does not care about the people he destroys. He is also seen sexually assaulting these children in open, public spaces. This is one of the layers of mystery to come from Shoujo Ramune. Are these three his first victims? Due to his lack of edge in his crimes, one would think this was not his first time. Who were these three girls beforehand? Just like real life, it is unlikely these three will ever be able to recover from the trauma inflicted by this man. It is likely the answers to these questions will never be known. In fact, it is likely that even Natsumi hasn't even thought of the answers, but that's just an assumption. No matter how well-written and paced you make a story, the human imagination will always triumph. So, perhaps these questions are better left a mystery.

However, the most disturbing part of this anime is the portrayal of Kiyoshi. He is presented as not a monster, but as a mere shop owner. Many people believe pedophiles to be 600 lb, bearded basement dwellers. But this is an exaggerated view of this group of terrors. Shoujo Ramune shows a more realistic view of a pedophile. In reality, nobody can be absolutely sure who is and isn't a child groomer. They could be anybody, even those who are highly trusted by others. More than 80% of sexual assault victims know their perpetrator. The worst part of all; Kiyoshi is never caught. This is the most brutal, but realistic part of Shoujo Ramune. The only known victims of sexual assault are the ones that speak up. Imagine how many real girls there are like these three, whose stories will never be known. Kiyoshi is given no punishment for his atrocities and will likely continue his path of tormenting others.

There are many who will say Shoujo Ramune is nothing but "just porn". While this approach is understandable, media should not be thought of as "just x or y". Media can be bent in a way to say something meaningful. Shoujo Ramune shows the grim reality of what can be the result of sexual inexperience. Why is this review a score of two? Quite simply, it's hentai aimed at arousing people by means of child rape. This is a fact. The sex scenes are extremely explicit and drawn-out, but can also be viewed as a glimpse of the dangers of lacking sexual knowledge. Parents often want to be a shield for their children; protecting them from the sexual deviants of the world, but what they fail to realize is they can not always be there for their children, as seen in this anime when Kiyoshi decided to use the setting of a candy shop to lure little girls into his fantasies.

Shoujo Ramune is a bold statement to make. To be able to create such a controversial piece and gather a willing team to do it should be treated with the utmost respect. Of course, this is not the treatment it got. A man named Natsumi took his skill and had the courage to show the world what he could do, regardless of the social norms and expectations he would shatter. Despite what others would think of him, this thought did not hinder Natumi's vision.

Shoujo Ramune is art.

Literally best hentai if you're into Loli. Really top notch animation and amazing voice acting too, it just sounds real enough to not get you arrested. I don't really have anything else to say besides that. Episode 3 had a really cute lesbian scene with so much emotion in the voice acting, every moan sounded really cute and innocent without sounding too overly dramatic. The story itself doesn't really go anywhere but there is such a diverse cast of different characters with really cute and designs that plot won't matter at all. My only complaint is the oldman shopkeeper. He was fucking weird.

8/10, good sound, ... animation and characters.

I logged back on after such a long time just to say, the VN that this series comes from did not have an Old Man as the main character, He was a young adult who ran a candy store, for some reason they changed Him into an Old Man for no reason. It only makes Lolicons look worse honestly but either way this series is still incredibly good for fapping.

I would have rated it a near 10 if they didn't just arbitrarily decide to change the main character into an Old Man, also some of the scenes from the VN are not present, funny enough ... the VN had more story and character development which I guess people find boring in hentai, even though I prefer to like a character and enjoy how sexy they are.

Finally, the series is still Vanilla thank God, in a market dominated (pun intended) by rape gangbangs, sex slavery, and literal cucking/NTR left and right, Vanilla hentai is always the most refreshing, the more You see of one thing, the more You grow used to it, so when I see another rape hentai, I just think to Myself "boring", it's actually more generic and cliche to have rape or NTR in hentai now. but I digress. Lolicon is also an absolute rarity in Hentai, and it's always there shown in a fucked up light but honestly that's again just because the market for hentai is focused on so much generic rape gangbang shit and women with tits so large that they might as well be watermelons instead, no difference would be made.

Anyways, enjoy this but know that the Old Man aspect was added for no reason.

Definite gem, given there ain't too many superb loli hentai out there. Animation is really good, voice actors doing a pretty good job. the way these girls moan in pleasure is wholesome and hot as hell at the same time. There's not much time being wasted on useless dialogue and the story is pretty much a waste but that obviously wouldn't be something you'd look for here. If you looked at previews or coverart and grown interest, you'll definitely get what you wish for. simple loli love making. If you like cute innocent girls being corrupted and violated this is definitely the right one for ... you.

I'm not extremely into loli girls but this was very good indeed. The story is not something I consider a lot when it comes to hentai, if there exists one that's good enough for me, what I am more interested in when watching is the look of the characters, quality of animation and of course it has to pander to my kind of fucked up taste in porn.

The animation and art quality was amazing for a hentai, could not ask for any better.

The sound aspect is not really applicable for me since I always watch hentai with the sound turned down, I just enjoy ... it better this way, therefor I always give the sound of all hentai a 5/10 since I cannot really rate it.

There's 4 episodes in total, all of them a little different, most likely you will find one you like the best and stick to it for the most part, I liked the first episode the best.

This is a true Masterpiece!
As an avid anime watcher, my parents never understood why I like to watch animes. When they see me watch animes, they'll ask me why I'd watch those animated series because they think, it's for children, so I wanted to show them an anime that is not just for children but an anime, everyone could watch and because of that I showed my parents and my little sister Shoujo Ramune.
Needless to say, they were absolutely blown away with this one! Not only did they cut off every contact with me but I'm also forbidden to speak to my little ... sister and I can't visit my parents' home ever again! They were this much shocked. I'm really glad that they now understand that animes aren't just there for children but adults can also enjoy it! So, please! If you have family members, please show this piece of art to them and they'll understand and they won't bother and nag at you anymore.
This anime has only four episodes but it's still got everything! It has a nice artwork, the animation is fine, it has vibrant backgrounds, a step father who's a pedophile child groomer and four loli girls who have dreams and ambitions and the help of the pedophile child groomer step dad.

And because of that, I rate this anime a pedobear / 10!
Would highly recommend this one! It's best if you watch it with your family and relatives. Please do yourself this favor!

Story: The story feels like it's lacking, they could've made it easier to follow, it would often skip to scenes that didn't really follow the previous one.

Art: The art, in my opinion, was amazing, the scenery and characters were well drawn.

Sound: The voice actors felt like a good match for the characters.

Character: Character development felt a bit lacking, and it was hard to follow the relationships.

Enjoyment: I found it too difficult to easily follow, I often got a little confused at the scene jumps/time jumps.

I remember watching this years ago and it was a fabulous blend of yuri and intergenerational heterosexuality.

I like the eccentric unique qualities of each of the three heroines, and I found the shyness they exhibited to be realistic and believable.

I think all men and onee-sans of culture would enjoy this immensely. Sure some parts get predictable and telegraphed but it still highlights a unique variety of situations.

One thing I liked coming away from the four episodes is there were so many unique and memorable moments, memes such as the bus ... stop, the girls in the grass, the couple under the bridge, having fun indoors.... you'll know what I'm talking about but I don't want to spoil anything.

This "anime" is really not what I was looking for. The story is non existent, not that it really matters, but still, no background of the story what so ever. The animation is just average, again, not that it matters too much in a show like this one. The voices were done quite decently tbh. The girls are all well designed, but the lolicon old man, bruuuh. It's a boku no pico without traps, and also the mc is way older, I'm guessing he's in his 50s, while the girls? 10?! Maybe less. At least we actually get some consensual s3x... Overall it's a 4, ... I have to say I didn't get bored at this, I might actually recommend it. Although I don't understand how this show has a 7.17 average.
