It's time to write a #CiscoLiveEMEA summary. It was a busy week, as always full of meetings. This time it was different, because I had a pleasure to participate as #CiscoDesignatedVIP and #CiscoChampion. My focus was on AI this year. Even though I see a lot of risks of using AI that affects human beings, my 10 years experience in IT always reminds me that in order to be on top, we should be open-minded and accept the reality as it is. AI is a big thing now and cannot be avoided, that's why I wanted to learn more about it instead of avoiding it and pretending that it doesn't exist and has no impact. I got multiple inspiration throughout the week on how AI can support us, especially for network automation. I participated in Cisco VIP dinner which was a great chance for me to meet the VIPs and great Cisco team. Par Merat mentioned VIPs as a group of people that teaches the next generation of specialists. That sentence stuck with me, especially if the next generation is struggling with a very difficult job market nowadays. It's so hard for them to stand out from the others. Not to mention a little % of jobs available for the juniors. We can't turn back time - after all, the next generation will have to take over our responsibilities and our job is to enable them to do so. I also had a opportunity to be a part of exclusive, behind the scenes tour for Cisco Champions on Sunday, thanks for the team for making that happen! I can't count how many times I had a good discussions with different engineers all over the world. I also was happy to share my feedback with CLN and Community teams. Unfortunately I didn't manage to chat with everyone I wanted and hopefully I'll be able to plan my next Cisco Live better. I'm looking forward to seeing the changes in IT in the next 5-10 years, being aware of AI. I hope it won't kill the social part of IT, like events, meet-ups and the communities - opportunities to connect with the peers, not entirely relying on auto-generated content, videos, texts that put social interactions into a risk. Events like CiscoLive really helps to get outside of the comfort zone of working with technologies you know. If you don't know specific technology it doesn't mean it's bad. Can't wait to reunion with friends next year! Learn with Cisco Cisco Community

18th out of 21,000 at Cisco Live Challenge 🚀 | Day 2 Highlights Day 2 at Cisco Live… and what a day! I started very early this morning coffee in one hand, badge in the other ready for a packed agenda. I attended 4 great sessions today, covering topics from Zero Trust & AVoIP accessories to Cisco Devices and the latest Collaboration Endpoints updates. The keynote was truly inspiring. It’s clear that Cisco is not just integrating AI it’s positioning itself to lead as an AI-driven company. The vision around AI-powered platforms, intelligent infrastructure, and automation shows a strong commitment to shaping what’s next. Throughout the day I had the chance to: • Reconnect with amazing colleagues • Meet partners and product managers • Run a couple of demos • Join the Capture the Flag challenge (always fun and competitive!) And speaking of challenges… I’m proud to share that in the Cisco Live Challenge, I finished ranked 18th out of 21,000 attendees, completing 100 tasks. 💪 What an experience! I also participated in some cool activities at the Cisco Insider Insider booth proud and happy to be part of such a strong and engaged Cisco Community. Day 2 done. Learning, connecting, competing and enjoying every minute. #CiscoLive #CiscoInsider #AI #Collaboration #Networking #Innovation #CiscoLiveEMEA #Cisco

Hat History: Printers Hat & Cisco Live Community Stand When newspapers were broadsheet (To young people that 3 x the size) the printers hat was easy to make! I had to join 2 sheets together ! The printers made them to keep the ink and oil off their heads, it is actually warm! I'm excited to share Cisco’s FY25 Purpose Report which demonstrates ways in which Purpose continues to guide our work across Cisco, and how we’re thinking about driving the greatest impact in the age of AI. It is incredibly rewarding to work alongside the teams that live and breathe this critical work, from Cisco Crisis Response to the Cisco Foundation, and Community Enablement to Community Impact. Together, we’re embedding Purpose across the business while driving impact for our people, our customers, and our global communities. Here are just a few of our FY25 highlights: 💫 573,000 employee volunteer hours — our sixth year with 80%+ community impact participation 🌍 154M lives positively impacted through the Cisco Foundation and Social Impact Investments 💰 US$650M in cash and in-kind contributions from Cisco and the Cisco Foundation Thank you to our Cisconians, partners, customers, and global communities.
