Today, we are pleased to announce we've expanded access to Novo Nordisk’s newly FDA-approved Wegovy® pill, now available through Amazon Pharmacy with both insurance coverage and a transparent cash-pay option. Eligible customers can pay as little as $25 for a one-month supply with insurance, or choose a straightforward cash-pay option starting at $149 per month. “By offering Wegovy through both insurance and a transparent cash-pay option, we’re giving people more choice, greater clarity, and fewer barriers to care,” said Tanvi Patel, Vice President and General Manager of Amazon Pharmacy.

We’re excited to announce that Same-Day Medication Delivery is now available across the Bay Area. 🎉 Whether it’s managing a new prescription or staying on track with ongoing treatments, patients can now get the medications they need delivered right to their doorstep— in a fast, reliable, and convenient way. This expansion is powered by two new Amazon sites located at Brisbane and Richmond, CA, each spanning more than 200,000 square feet. These state-of-the-art facilities feature advanced automation for rapid prescription filling, temperature-controlled storage for safe medication handling, and 24/7 access to licensed and trained pharmacists for customer support. Together, these capabilities help us continue making healthcare more convenient, more accessible, and centered around the people we serve. 💡 How can we reimagine access to healthcare and create a future where care is centered around the patient and the provider? That was the discussion at The Milken Institute Future of Health Summit last week in Washington, D.C. We covered a lot. From how AI can reduce provider burden and improve access through virtual care to helping patients navigate their health journeys more effectively. We also discussed the critical need for cost transparency – patients deserve to know what healthcare will cost them upfront. 🩷 This past weekend, our Amazon Pharmacy and One Medical teams joined the American Cancer Society as a Community Impact Partner for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Chicago. Our teams connected with thousands of Chicagoans and shared swag and snacks with event participants. Our lead pharmacist at Amazon Pharmacy, Lindsey Cashell PharmD. RPh, shared her personal connection to the cause through her grandmother Helen's cancer journey and how it drives her commitment to providing excellent patient care as a healthcare provider.
