Flashback Friday to where it all began. 🎙️ In 2018, we launched the Audible Narrator Hall of Fame to honor the voices that bring stories to life—the actors whose performances stay with listeners long after the final chapter. The inaugural class of 20 narrators included Alan Cumming, Bahni Turpin, Scott Brick, Robin Miles, and Jonathan Davis—performers whose craft has shaped millions of listening experiences. Eight years later, we're still celebrating the extraordinary voices that make audio storytelling unforgettable. This Wednesday, April 8th, we'll honor the 2026 class at Minetta Lane Theatre in New York. More to come.

This March, Audible celebrated Women's History Month, bringing our teams together under the theme of "Give to Gain." From a Skills Swap Festival with sessions on financial planning, dancing, and storytelling to activations across our global hubs, we came together to share wisdom, spark conversations, and invest in one another. Moments like these are made possible by the dedication of our Women@ and Women in Tech Impact Groups, and their work continues to bring people together in meaningful ways. #InsideAudible

Happy April Fools’ Day! From one comment to a full concept—here’s how our team made it happen. 👇
For April Fool’s this year at Audible, we wanted to go deeper than a joke. We wanted to tap directly into the community and give the people what they want. Last September, we worked with legendary narrator Teddy Hamilton on our Spicy Chicken campaign and one comment stood out, “I would listen to him read the dictionary.” So we did exactly that. That throwaway comment became a fully realised April Fool’s concept. From Teaser to Hero to Reveal, we brought “The Dictionary” to life, and the response from the fandom was everything we'd hoped for. In less than a week, the 3x videos generated 1.7M VVs, 4.6k comments and 36.5k shares across platforms and they're still gaining momentum. Huge thanks to everyone who helped bring this to life; Pia McMorran, Alison Mitchell Daly, Elisa Donato, Georgie McCarthy, the Emotive | Creative Agency, and especially the man himself Teddy. PS. I LOVE this video stitch: https://lnkd.in/g6z78fcp

Our Head of Global Editorial, Emily Cox, shares what makes a narrator truly exceptional ahead of our 2026 Narrator Hall of Fame ceremony. This year's 15 inductees include Janina Edwards—who credits ACX with launching the second chapter of her narration career—alongside Ray Porter, January LaVoy, Julia Whelan, and more. These are the voices listeners describe as "auto-download"—narrators so compelling, you'll pick up a book just because they're reading it. We'll be celebrating on April 8 at the Minetta Lane Theatre in New York and sharing highlights from the ceremony. Read the full interview via LBB Online: https://adbl.co/4d5NpHR
