    The moon, a basketball, and a masterclass in visual storytelling. There’s a billboard by Known promoting Steph Curry’s new book, Shot Ready, that’s been catching eyes lately, and for good reason. The creative concept? Aligning the billboard which features an inverted version of the cover and the moon in a position that allows it to act as a basketball. This is brilliant marketing for several reasons: It instantly communicates who Steph is without saying a word. The three-point shooter who regularly makes impossible shots look routine now has the moon as his ball. It’s aspirational, playful, and perfectly on-brand. The metaphor works on multiple levels. Curry has always been about reaching for what seems impossible, redefining what’s achievable in basketball. Using the moon as a basketball isn’t just clever visual design, it’s a statement about ambition, dreams, and pushing boundaries. Great advertising doesn’t just grab attention; it tells a story that resonates. This billboard does exactly that. And it uses a Timelapse video to bring it to life across social. It makes you stop, smile, and think. And in our oversaturated media landscape, that’s increasingly rare. Sometimes the simplest ideas are the most powerful. No complicated copy needed.
