Égarement coupable

I was set to give this 3 or 4 stars but the unexpected ending salvaged a 6 for me... Most of the movie felt predictable and like a bad stalker film until the plot twist at the very end left you wondering which was reality.

This is possibly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I know Lifetime Movies aren't academy award winners and have plots similar to this one, but I expected so much more because of Mira Sorvino. I'm always amazed when an actress with real star power stoops to such a low position. There were so many holes in the plot that I found myself laughing out loud. The worst was when she was running in the garage in stiletto heels, looking more like a drag queen than her beautiful self.

This movie is typical stalker/obession movie. acting was solid and didnt miss anything while working at the same time movie is rolling. ending was interesting and left you thinking a bit but that is all.

one time movie. saw this when scrolled and searched through netflix.

Not a bad film, but not great. Wife of a Louisiana senate candidate has a fling with local artist and things go from bad to worse quickly. Ends with an unexpected twist. Sorvino is no shrinking violet. She is as devious as her opponents in this film.

Not just when you think about certain relationships or what might have happened if certain people have met under other circumstances ... but the movie mostly plays like this crazy lover kind of ... affair! Yes pun intended, very much so actually to tell the truth.

Now you may despise jokes like that and I totally understand, but you probably will be more confused thinking about the movie and how it ends. Not because it is unclear! But because there is this whole other movie here ... a gold mine! Well more or less! But most definitely something far better than the thing we get served here ... So overall the ending seems removed from the rest of the movie, intellectually. Still it maybe manages to elevate it at least a little bit
