I have to admit I had never heard of Jo Walton, even though she has written over 75 books. But something in the synopsis of her upcoming Or What You Will grabbed me, and I entered a giveaway through the Shelf Awareness Newsletter. I’m glad I won the book and can now present it to you. Six degrees of separation: from It to the Broken Teaglass

Six degrees of separation:
from
IT
to
THE BROKEN TEAGLASS

Thanks to Karen’s posts at BookerTalk on Six Degrees of Separation, I finally discovered this fun meme, hosted by Kate at Booksaremyfavouriteandbest (see there the origin of the meme and how it works – posted the first Saturday of every month.
As every blogger can invent their own rules, I chose a quirky one, of course:

  1. Use your list of books on Goodreads

  2. Take the first word of the title offered and find another title with that word in it

  3. Then use the first word of THAT title to find your text title

  4. Or the second if the title starts by the same word

So here is my result for today:

   It  As you like it

  French Illusions   French house

  Glass Houses  broken teaglass

1. IT
2. As you like IT
3. French Illusions: My Story AS an American Au Pair in the Loire Valley
4. The FRENCH House
5. Glass HOUSES
6. The Broken TEAGLASS
