~It was just recently that I chose to become an Ordained Minister. I do not have years of experience or schooling behind me but what I do have is a deep understanding of what it means to love and be loved and feel every relationship should be celebrated and honored in only the most beautiful of ways.
I believe in marriage, regardless of what spiritual or non spiritual beliefs you behold or what kind of partner you have stumbled upon. We are all human, through my eyes and my beliefs there is not one superior of another…Love is Love.
I believe we all have the right to choose how we wish to spend our days and when you find the right person, it really does not matter what others think or feel, only what lies within you.
I feel each ceremony should reflect the two people that are coming together. You may choose a standard template or I can create your own ceremony for you or assist you and yours in writing a ceremony that is unique and deeply meaningful. These beliefs are what lead me down the path of becoming ordained.~
TYPES of CEREMONIES~
Your options are endless as to how you choose to celebrate your day! I say be unique and make it your own, true to yourself and your partners beliefs and needs. I can assist you in coming up with a theme or helping you in creating a simple and sweet ceremony that is just as meaningful and memorable.

CHOOSING A WEDDING CEREMONY
THAT BEST FITS YOUR BELIEFS~
ELOPEMENT~
An elopement is usually a quick, spur of the moment, often private ceremony
NON-RELIGIOUS~
Pretty straightforward…There is no religion spoke of, though you are welcome to add your own personal twist to this type of ceremony.
NON-DENOMINATIONAL CEREMONY~
A non-denominational ceremony is one that has no particular denomination.
RELIGIOUS CEREMONY~
A religious ceremony is one that is of a specific denomination { Catholic, Jewish, Muslim } or combination of denominations, it is characterized by formal or defining religious elements, rituals, and or traditions from one or more denominations.
SPIRITUAL CEREMONY~
To each individual "Spiritual" means something different. Spiritual can be referred to as a religious, sacred, a divine feeling or the essence that underlies a religious element, ritual or tradition. Rich, nourishing and inspiring words are spoken leaving it universal and staying away from any one particular religion.
INTERFAITH CEREMONY~
An Interfaith ceremony ,multi-faith or interdenominational is one in which a combination or blending of religions is performed, ranging from only some religion to being entirely religious.
SAME SEX CEREMONY~
At this time, Washington state does allow same sex marriages. I can perform a commitment ceremony that gives you the opportunity to privately or publicly honor and recognize your relationship as a couple and your commitment to each other but is not a legal binding ceremony.
MULTI~CULTURAL CEREMONY~
A multicultural ceremony is one in which involves the blending of a couple's cultures and heritage. Similar to interfaith yet may or may not have any religious elements. Multicultural weddings can be civil, non–religious or religious.
DOUBLE or MULTIPLE CEREMONY~
A double or multiple ceremony is when it involves more than one couple wanting to share their special day together.
RENEWAL of VOWS CEREMONY~
A renewal of vows ceremony is one that is performed one or more years after your original wedding day.
BOOKING YOUR WEDDING CEREMONY~
Please note that some items below may not pertain to your ceremony.
With each booking, I “pencil” each in my book until I have received a deposit. I would recommend sending or making your deposit as soon as possible. If another party call’s and is requesting the date you have booked, I will kindly give you a courtesy call to confirm you are sending the deposit before I book another wedding. Once your deposit has been received, The date is yours.
For last minute weddings, I am more than willing to work with you and figure out a convenient payment method.
Please Note: Booking your ceremony is a binding contract. Once a ceremony is booked, your deposit is non-refundable. Please book only when you are confident about this decision and feel you have found the right fit for you and yours.

Included in my fee above, is a 30 ~ 60 minute meeting prior to your ceremony to get to know one another. If you would like more time, I charge $25.00 per additional hour. You are not required to do such, however, it ensures you have found the right fit for your wedding day and allows us to start planning what type of ceremony you want.
If money is an issues, please do not hesitate to contact me, There is always a way to come up with a creative idea that can make both parties happy. I support local artists, farmers and small business owners…if there is a specific talent you or yours behold, let me know, I am more than happy to do a trade. I believe in supporting one another and in building a stronger community.
PAYMENT INFORMATION~
The final payment is due the day of your wedding, in the form of CASH, PAYPAL or MONEY ORDER ONLY. I will hold Marriage Certificates for 7 days if services are paid in the form of a check.
CUSTOMIZED CEREMONY~
One of my great passions is writing, I can create a wedding ceremony that is unique to you and your partner. One that speaks to you and envelopes all you believe. A customized ceremony starts at $50.00, otherwise you are welcome to use any template I have provided, or that you have found. The most important thing is that it means something to you and yours.
CUSTOM VOWS~
If you are using a standard ceremony template yet choose to write your own vows, I ask that you send a copy to me at least one week prior to your event.
REHEARSALS~
Rehearsals are not included with a booking. A $50 fee is added to your wedding price, due to the time and extra services that I can offer in this area. This is the reason: When I attend a rehearsal, I can offer complete organization to make your wedding ceremony flow. If you have a family member or consultant, you may not need this service. It is not required; I fit into your plans, whether big or small. If you have a large wedding party you may want to consider this additional service. If your wedding is a casual smaller event, then you’re likely don’t need one. Rehearsals are one hour and should start on time. Please ask as many in your wedding party to arrive 10 minutes early so we may use the whole hour if needed.
LICENSES~
The link below gives specific information on marriage licenses’ in each county.
http://access.wa.gov/living/resources/marriage.aspx
http://www.usmarriagelaws.com/search/united_states/washington/index.shtml
Your marriage license needs to be purchased at least 3 days prior to your wedding, I ask if possible one week in advance to ensure there is no problems. Once your marriage license is purchased, there is a 3 day waiting period before your marriage can take place. The 3 day waiting period does not go into place until both have appeared in the office.
Example~ You can purchase your license in Pierce County and get married in King County.
FILLING OUT YOUR LICENSE~
I ask that you have your license filled out the day of your wedding, it is one thing that you won’t have to worry about. This simply allows for adequate timing to have things run smoothly especially if you will be having a receiving line.
There is one copy I keep for myself, one that is given to you and the other I will mail to the Auditor's office. For an “original” certified copy you need to go back to the Auditor's office . This is the copy that will allow you to legalize what you need to. Processing can take up to 10 business days.
If you need a certified copy sooner, you can go to the Auditor’s office with necessary paperwork to receive one immediately.
STARTING TIMES AND LATE FEES~
As most know, a wedding usually never starts on time! I give a 15 minute window. Thereafter will be a late fee of $25.00 for every half hour that passes after the 15 minute window. The reason for such is I may be scheduled for another event following yours. I will be at your event 20-30 minutes prior to the start to go over any last minute details and fill out paperwork.
