As a way to keep myself accountable, every day that I read, I post at least one of the verses I have read. I am currently in the book of Deuteronomy (about a month behind) but I have been doubling up on my reading so hopefully, in a month or so, I will be all caught up.

(From today's reading: Deuteronomy 5-10)

Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

- Deuteronomy 6:5

. . . the LORD your God, who is among you, is a great and awesome God.

And now, O Israel, what does the LORD your God ask of you but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, and to observe the LORD's commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good?
