Revelation 11:7-10 When the two witnesses have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the Abyss will wage war with them, and will overpower and kill them. Their bodies will lie in the street of the great city—figuratively called Sodom and Egypt—where their Lord was also crucified. For three and a half days all peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will view their bodies and will not permit them to be laid in a tomb. And those who dwell on the earth will gloat over them and celebrate and send one another gifts, because these two prophets had tormented them.
I have often wondered how humanity reached the point of celebration with the death of a fellow man in the verses above in Revelation 11. With the assassination of Charlie Kirk, we have seen plenty of examples of people celebrating on social media. As of September 2025, we have arrived. People are gloating, celebrating, and gifting over the death of a man.
The verses above mark the halfway point of the 7 year tribulation. I hold to the position the seven year tribulation has not started. Sadly, Scripture says our world will grow colder from this point in time.
Jesus confirms this coming time with the Olivet Discourse.
Matthew 24:12 Because of the multiplication of wickedness, the love of most/many will grow cold.

Joel 3:2 I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will enter into judgment against them concerning My people, My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations as they divided up My land.

Mark 3:23-26 So Jesus called them together and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan? If a kingdom is divided against itself, it cannot stand. If a house is divided against itself, it cannot stand. And if Satan is divided and rises against himself, he cannot stand; his end has come.
