Call Him Jesus

Matthew 1:21 She will give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.”

We call Him Jesus in English.

Ἰησοῦς or Iésous is the Greek form of the Hebrew Yehoshua. The name means “Yahweh is salvation” or “Yahweh saves.”

Yehoshua is a combination of YHWH, which is the proper name of God and yasha` which is a Hebrew verb.

The term for LORD is Yahweh, The Existing One. This is the definitive name for God. This is the proper name of the Hebrew God of the Bible. Jehovah is a word that has been translated to English from the Hebrew, Yahweh. The correct spelling is YHWH.  Scholars refer to this as the Tetragrammaton, Greek for four letters.

This name is so sacred, Jews refuse to pronounce it. The first mention of the name is in Exodus between God and Moses.

Exodus 3:14  God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “Thus you shall say to the sons of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’

Yasha` means to save, deliver from moral troubles; to give victory to. This is the verb form.

The noun form of yasha` is Yeshua. It means: He saves. The Hebrew name for Jesus is Yeshua.

Yeshua Himself connects the dots in the Book of John. Yeshua or “He saves” makes seven statements in the Book of John explaining “I am…”

I am the bread of life (John 6:35).

I am the light of the world (John 8:12).

I am the gate (John 10:9).

I am the good shepherd (John 10:11).

I am the resurrection and the life (John 11:25).

I am the way and the truth and the life (John 14:6).

I am the vine (John 15:5).

Yeshua is Yahweh, The Existing One. He saves. He will have military conquest.

John 8:58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I AM.”

Jesus Christ is the victorious warrior. He will dwell or tabernacle with the nation we know as Israel. He too will shout for joy with the introduction of His Kingdom. Yeshua will celebrate. Good times are coming.

Here is a mental exercise for all. Every time you see “Jesus/Yeshua/Yehoshua/Ἰησοῦς” substitute the meaning of His name…

In the last 72-Hours, the Israel Defense Force has launched over 400 Strikes on Targets inside of Syria, resulting in the Elimination of 70-80% of the Military Capability of the Former Syrian Arab Armed Forces (SAAF). The Locations struck included Anti-Aircraft Batteries, Syrian Air Force Airfields, Naval Bases, and Dozens of Weapons Production Sites in Damascus, Homs, Tartus, Latakia, and Palmyra; which resulted in the Destruction of Scud Tactical-Ballistic Missiles, Cruise Missiles, Surface-to-Sea, Sea-to-Sea, Surface-to-Air and Surface-to-Surface Missiles, UAVs, Fighter Jets, Attack Helicopters, Ships, Radars, Tanks, Hangars, and more.

The Druze of southern Syria have publicly declared their desire to secede from Syria and be annexed to Israel. Based on topography this is what the annexation would look like. The IDF has already taken over the DMZ in yellow and moved into some of the Druze towns. Thread.

Vanuatu checks in with a 7.3 trembler on the Richter Scale.

On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, a 7.3 magnitude earthquake shook the coast of Vanuatu, an archipelago in the South Pacific, resulting in a tsunami warning, as reported by US seismologists and meteorologists. Vanuatu Police have officially confirmed at least one death associated with this catastrophic event. In addition to the loss of life, the earthquake caused significant damage to the region’s infrastructure. In Porto Vila, the capital, a complex that houses several embassies, including that of the United States, suffered severe structural damage. Preliminary reports highlight that the destruction affected not only commercial and diplomatic buildings, but also residences, with several homes and public infrastructure damaged. The magnitude of the earthquake, combined with its location in a highly seismic area known as the Pacific Ring of Fire, amplifies the impact of this natural disaster on Vanuatu’s life and economy.

Isaiah 17:1 This is the burden against Damascus: “Behold, Damascus is no longer a city; it has become a heap of ruins.

The Assad regime and rule in Syria is over after 50 years.

The Syrian Regime has fallen as Damascus and the SAF surrendered to rebel factions. The last remaining SAF ‘control’ along the Mediterranean coast remains to be formally taken over. The SNA have carried out attacks on the SDF across their lines of contact.

President Elect Donald Trump has weighed in on the events taking place in Syria.

Opposition fighters in Syria, in an unprecedented move, have totally taken over numerous cities, in a highly coordinated offensive, and are now on the outskirts of Damascus, obviously preparing to make a very big move toward taking out Assad. Russia, because they are so tied up in Ukraine, and with the loss there of over 600,000 soldiers, seems incapable of stopping this literal march through Syria, a country they have protected for years. This is where former President Obama refused to honor his commitment of protecting the RED LINE IN THE SAND, and all hell broke out, with Russia stepping in. But now they are, like possibly Assad himself, being forced out, and it may actually be the best thing that can happen to them. There was never much of a benefit in Syria for Russia, other than to make Obama look really stupid. In any event, Syria is a mess, but is not our friend, & THE UNITED STATES SHOULD HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. THIS IS NOT OUR FIGHT. LET IT PLAY OUT. DO NOT GET INVOLVED!

A powerful magnitude 7.3 earthquake has struck off the coast of California, triggering tsunami sirens and prompting a tsunami warning for the western coastline, including the San Francisco Bay Area. Preliminary Syria update: Syrian rebels have launched a rapid offensive in the northwest of the country, capturing Aleppo, the country’s second-largest city. Rebel forces have also advanced southward, reaching the outskirts of Hamah.

The idea that the BRICS Countries are trying to move away from the Dollar while we stand by and watch is OVER. We require a commitment from these Countries that they will neither create a new BRICS Currency, nor back any other Currency to replace the mighty U.S. Dollar or, they will face 100% Tariffs, and should expect to say goodbye to selling into the wonderful U.S. Economy. They can go find another “sucker!” There is no chance that the BRICS will replace the U.S. Dollar in International Trade, and any Country that tries should wave goodbye to America.
