Definitions
- the present invention relates to a vehicle airbag device capable of improving the reduction of an occupant obstacle value at the time of oblique collision.
- Patent Document 1 is known as an example of an airbag device installed in the front seat of a vehicle such as an automobile.
- the airbag of the assist airbag device is formed to have an outer dimension capable of restraining an occupant seated in the passenger seat and an occupant seated in the center seat.
- a partition portion is provided in the airbag, and the airbag is divided into a center-seat occupant airbag deployed at the front of the center seat and a passenger-seat occupant airbag deployed at the front of the passenger seat. Connect the inflator to the central passenger airbag.
- a communication hole that connects the inside of the airbag for the passenger in the center seat and the inside of the airbag for the passenger in the passenger seat is opened, and an exhaust hole that communicates with the outside is opened at the side of the airbag for the passenger in the passenger seat. I have to.
- the oblique collision is an intermediate collision form between a frontal collision and a side collision.
- the vehicle width direction end front right corner or front left corner
- a frontal collision the occupant's body is moved forward from the seat in the vehicle longitudinal direction.
- a side collision the occupant's body is moved to the right or left in the vehicle width direction.
- the force acts on the occupant both in the vehicle front-rear direction and in the vehicle width direction. Therefore, the occupant is moved obliquely forward from the seat in the vehicle longitudinal direction.
- the occupant's body receives not only a force that moves diagonally forward, but also a turning force, as in the case of a vehicle on which a turning force acts. For this reason, the occupant's body is rotated so as to be inclined with respect to the vehicle longitudinal direction. At this time, the head of the occupant is also rotated left and right around the neck.
- the conventional vehicle front seat airbag #a is rearward in the vehicle front-rear direction from the opening 104 of the instrument panel 102 toward the passenger 101 seated in the front seat of the vehicle. Expanded to expand.
- the outer shape of the airbag #a when deployment and inflation are completed is such that when viewed from above the vehicle, the occupant restraint surface #b that receives and restrains the occupant 101 is wide in the vehicle width direction, and the vehicle on the opening 104 side
- the front-rear direction front end #c has a triangular shape or a fan shape that tapers narrow in the vehicle width direction.
- the airbag #a In the case of the conventional front seat airbag #a for a vehicle, even if the occupant 101 moving obliquely forward in the vehicle front-rear direction due to the oblique projection is to be received by the occupant restraint surface #b, it rotates so as to be inclined at the same time as the movement. Together with the body of the occupant 101, the airbag #a rotates around the vehicle front-rear direction front end #c. For this reason, the body of the occupant 101 escapes to the side of the airbag #a, and the occupant restraint surface #b cannot properly restrain the occupant 101 body, that is, there is no surface for receiving the occupant 101. there were. Furthermore, since the body of the occupant 101 cannot be properly restrained, there is a problem that the rotation of the occupant 101 around the neck of the head 101a cannot be suppressed and the head obstacle value of the occupant 101 becomes high.
