Abstract

 電極とワークとの間に放電を発生させ、その放電エネルギーによって、ワークの被処理表面に、電極材料または電極材料が放電エネルギーにより反応した物質からなる耐摩耗性のある被膜を形成する放電表面処理に用いられる放電表面処理用電極において、ジェットミルによって作製された平均粒径3μm以下のステライトの粉末と、アトマイズ法、あるいは化学的方法によって製造した平均粒径3μm以下の金属の粉末と、の混合粉末を圧縮成形した圧粉体に加熱処理を施してなることを特徴とする放電表面処理用電極。
